Norwegian Cruise Line at Port Canaveral uses Terminal 5 and 6

The Terminal 10 belief, and the two berths Norwegian actually loads from

Norwegian Cruise Line’s berth at Port Canaveral is Cruise Terminal 5 or Cruise Terminal 6, never Cruise Terminal 10, across all 67 sailing dates through February 2027. The Canaveral Port Authority master schedule stamped 27 August 2026 puts 51 of those departures at Terminal 5 and 16 at Terminal 6.

The Terminal 10 idea has a source, and the source is that same file. Norwegian Bliss stands at Cruise Terminal 10 on three dates in the window, 4 November 2026, 27 January 2027 and 24 February 2027, and each of those rows carries the Port of Call flag. A flagged call takes on no passengers.

Three cases follow. Favorable: the boarding document names a berth and the schedule row for that date agrees, which is what happens on the 51 Terminal 5 dates. Normal: nothing names a berth, and the weekday pattern settles it. Unfavorable: the ship moves berth mid season, as Norwegian Escape does on 20 November 2026, and the error costs 463 feet of Charles Rowland Dr.

Two gates. One highway exit.

Cruise Terminal 5 and Cruise Terminal 6 stand four street numbers apart

Cruise Terminal 5 sits at 9245 Charles Rowland Dr. and Cruise Terminal 6 at 9241, both in Cape Canaveral, FL 32920. Exit 54A off S.R. 528 serves them both, because the Canaveral Port Authority lists Cruise Terminals 5, 6, 8 and 10 as its A Terminals and routes Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3 through Exit 54B.

That geometry is the practical advantage of a Norwegian booking here. Whichever of the four ships is loading, the ramp is Exit 54A, so the last decision on a drive the port measures as approximately 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport is already made.

Two other operators work differently. Carnival Cruise Line publishes A-Side North Cruise Terminal #6 and B-Side South Cruise Terminal #3, one on each side of the channel, and Royal Caribbean lists Terminal #1 on Discovery Road beside Terminal #5 and Terminal #6, so for those two the exit changes with the ship. The berth by berth map is in the reading of all seven numbered terminals and the exit each one answers to.

On that point the Norwegian Cruise Line directions agree with the port and on nothing more specific: all four route blocks it publishes end on the same instruction, follow the signs for the A-Side (North) Terminal.

Every Norwegian ship the master schedule names, and the berth beside it

Four Norwegian ships load passengers at Port Canaveral in the current edition and two more appear only as visitors. The table reads the 1,086 terminal rows of the September 2026 to February 2027 file, 74 of which name a Norwegian vessel.

Down the berth column the split is 51 rows at Terminal 5 against 16 at Terminal 6, or 76% and 24% of the 67 departures. Across the ships it is looser than it looks: three of the four turnaround ships appear at both berths, and only Norwegian Epic keeps one from first row to last.

How the Port of Call flag separates a call from a Norwegian departure

Seven of the 74 Norwegian rows carry the words Port of Call in the last column, and those seven are the ones putting a Norwegian hull at Cruise Terminal 10 or Cruise Terminal 3. No legend appears in the 17 page file: the Canaveral Port Authority publishes the column without defining it.

The departure hour is the tell that survives a bad photocopy. Every Norwegian turnaround row leaves at 1600 or 1800, which is 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm, and 37 of them arrive at 700, or 7:00 am, while all seven call rows leave at 2000 or 2100, meaning 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm. A Norwegian ship against Terminal 10 with a 9:00 pm departure is a ship spending the day in port.

The arrival column will not confirm any of it. Twenty five rows in this edition print an arrival later than the departure, and all of them belong to Norwegian Getaway or Norwegian Escape, a defect counted in the row by row audit of what the master schedule gets wrong. One column carries the flag. The clock beside it does not.

What Norwegian Cruise Line publishes about its own Port Canaveral berth

Norwegian Cruise Line publishes no terminal number for Port Canaveral. Its driving directions page names the destination as Terminal de Puerto Cañaveral and points at portcanaveral.com, with no street address, no berth digit and no map pin. The English URL served this reader the Spanish edition of the site in August 2026, so the wording quoted here is translated.

What it carries is four road approaches. From I-95 it gives Exit 205 and about 12 miles east on the Beachline Expressway. From Melbourne, about 20 minutes north on U.S. Highway 1 past S.R. 520 in Cocoa, about 1 mile more to the ramp, then about 10 miles of S.R. 528 East. From Orlando International Airport and from Tampa, no distance at all.

A second Norwegian document for the same port is still online. The PDF at ncl.com titled Directions to Port of Canaveral, whose file properties give a creation date of 21 April 2011, quotes parking at $15/night for vehicles up to 20 feet in length and $26/night for longer ones, and links to a portcanaveral.com address that no longer resolves. The current Norwegian directions page gives $17.00 per day against the $20.00 per day plus tax the port charges, a gap taken apart in the audit of what each cruise line publishes about Port Canaveral parking.

Three documents from one company, and not one of them names a gate.

One exit, two gates, and the arrival guides that differ between them

A separate arrival guide covers each berth, and the two Norwegian pages are not copies of each other. The Cruise Terminal 5 guide lists two routes, pickup and drop-off plus parking, and sends both to one Apple Maps pin at 28.417932, -80.627850. The Cruise Terminal 6 guide lists three.

Those three are luggage drop off, passenger drop off and parking, each with its own coordinate pair. The luggage pin and the passenger pin sit 294 feet apart, the luggage pin and the parking pin 720 feet, or 0.14 miles. Dropping bags first at Cruise Terminal 6 means two stops the Cruise Terminal 5 page never describes.

Between the berths themselves the gap is smaller than the confusion suggests: the Cruise Terminal 5 pin and the Cruise Terminal 6 passenger pin lie 463 feet apart, or 0.09 miles, on one street behind one ramp.

The winner by scenario is easy to state. For a driver who knows only that the ship is Norwegian, Exit 54A wins outright, since both berths sit behind it. For one whose document names Cruise Terminal 6, the port’s guide wins over the cruise line paperwork: it is the page that separates the luggage route from the passenger route. Neither names an operator, and the wider layout of garages is in the Port Canaveral reference that ties every terminal to its exit and its parking rate.

Details that settle a Norwegian berth before the drive

  • The boarding document is the only issuer that names a berth for a given sailing. The port’s cruise lines page lists Norwegian Cruise Line with the number 1-866-234-7350 and no terminal beside it.
  • In the Sunday slot, Norwegian Epic holds Cruise Terminal 5 on all 16 of its rows, and Norwegian Prima held it on 9 of its 11 before leaving the file on 12 November 2026.
  • Norwegian Escape is the ship to check twice, printed at Cruise Terminal 6 on 13 rows and at Terminal 5 on 3, including the Fridays of 20 November and 18 December 2026.
  • The garages open at 10 AM on embarkation day, according to the Canaveral Port Authority, and take payment on entry by card. An early arrival at either Norwegian berth waits outside the barrier.
  • Terminal 10 enters a Norwegian itinerary as a stop, not a start: on 4 November 2026, 27 January 2027 and 24 February 2027 it holds Norwegian Bliss from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Five ways the Terminal 10 assumption costs a Norwegian passenger

Driving to 9005 Charles Rowland Dr. on a sailing day. Cruise Terminal 10 is a working berth for MSC Seashore and MSC Grandiosa, so the address leads to an active gate with the wrong ship behind it.

Reading a Port of Call row as a sailing. All six Norwegian rows outside Terminals 5 and 6 belong to Norwegian Bliss, which loads nobody here, and the seven flagged rows are under 10% of the Norwegian total.

Trusting a terminal number that came from a cruise line page. No berth digit appears on a Norwegian Cruise Line page for this port: its address block is a port name and a website.

Budgeting from the older Norwegian PDF. Its $15/night figure predates the current rate by fifteen years, and the port’s Parking Rates heading now reads $20.00 per day plus tax.

Treating Terminal 5 and Terminal 6 as interchangeable at the curb. They share Exit 54A and a street, and only the Cruise Terminal 6 guide splits luggage from passengers, a different pin for each.

How these Norwegian berth counts were checked

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. No provider paid for placement here, and none can pay to appear. Where a booking link earns Lot and Gate a commission it is marked as sponsored and flagged in this line, and as of September 2026 no affiliate link is live anywhere on this site.

Questions about Norwegian sailings and Port Canaveral berths

The answers below come from the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise schedule and arrival guides, and from the Norwegian Cruise Line pages named above, read in August 2026.

Which terminal does Norwegian Cruise Line use at Port Canaveral?

Cruise Terminal 5 and Cruise Terminal 6, at 9245 and 9241 Charles Rowland Dr. The Canaveral Port Authority master schedule for September 2026 to February 2027 prints 51 Norwegian departures at Terminal 5 and 16 at Terminal 6, and no Norwegian departure anywhere else.

Does Norwegian Cruise Line sail from Terminal 10 at Port Canaveral?

No. Terminal 10 belongs to MSC Seashore and MSC Grandiosa in this edition, with Disney Wish on scattered dates. A Norwegian Bliss row appears there on 4 November 2026, 27 January 2027 and 24 February 2027, and all three carry the Port of Call flag, which marks a visit rather than a sailing.

Which exit off S.R. 528 serves the Norwegian terminals at Port Canaveral?

Exit 54A, the ramp the Canaveral Port Authority assigns to its A Terminals, which are Cruise Terminals 5, 6, 8 and 10. Exit 54B serves Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3. Because both Norwegian berths sit on the A side, the exit does not change with the ship.

Does Norwegian Cruise Line publish its Port Canaveral terminal number?

No. Its driving directions page gives the destination as Terminal de Puerto Cañaveral with a link to portcanaveral.com, and every route it lists ends at the A-Side (North) Terminal signs. A separate Norwegian PDF for the port, created in April 2011, names no berth either.

Can a Norwegian ship change between Terminal 5 and Terminal 6?

Yes, and three of the four turnaround ships do. The schedule prints Norwegian Escape at Cruise Terminal 6 on 13 rows and Cruise Terminal 5 on 3, and Norwegian Prima at Terminal 5 on 9 rows and Terminal 6 on 2. Both berths sit behind Exit 54A, about 463 feet apart.

What does Port of Call mean beside a Norwegian ship in the schedule?

It marks a visit rather than a sailing, so the ship arrives and leaves the same day with its passengers already aboard. All seven Norwegian call rows depart at 2000 or 2100, meaning 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm, while every Norwegian departure row leaves at 1600 or 1800.

A berth Norwegian never mentions and a flag that changes the answer

The Terminal 10 story survives because both halves of it are true in the wrong order. A Norwegian ship does reach Cruise Terminal 10, three times between September 2026 and February 2027, and nobody drives there to catch it. The company selling the cruise publishes four routes into the port without a berth number in any of them, and the authority that assigns the berth prints it only in a spreadsheet exported to PDF on 27 August 2026. The answer sits in one column of one file, and it is the last one.
