How far is Port Canaveral from Disney World, road by road

Two toll roads leave the Walt Disney World area for Port Canaveral

Walt Disney World Resort sits 1 hour 30 minutes from Port Canaveral in the figure Disney Cruise Line publishes. Toll points on the way price at $0.58 with a transponder at the Osceola Parkway ramp on S.R. 417, $1.72 at the John Young Main Plaza, and $3.44 at that plaza without one.

Walt Disney World Resort is an area rather than an address, and the difference shows up on the road. Driving directions to Port Canaveral from the Canaveral Port Authority cover three origins, and all three are airports, so no published route starts at a Disney hotel. What the resort area has instead is a drive time from the company selling the cruise, with no mileage attached to it.

That gap matters because the resort area and Orlando International Airport do not reach the coast the same way. An airport departure joins S.R. 528 at the airport’s own exit. A departure from the resort side reaches S.R. 528 through I-4, through S.R. 417 or through Florida’s Turnpike, and each of those carries its own toll points under its own schedule.

Below is what each issuer will put in print for this origin, and what none of them will.

Six of those seven rows come from a direct read of the issuer’s own page in August 2026. The first row does not, and the reason is set out further down.

The Canaveral Port Authority routes three airports and no theme park

Exactly three driving routes appear on the Canaveral Port Authority directions page, and the resort area is in none of them. Traffic from Orlando International Airport leaves by the airport’s North Exit onto “S.R. 528 East (Toll Road)”, a run the Canaveral Port Authority times at approximately 45 minutes. Melbourne Orlando International Airport gets “approximately 25 miles (40 minutes) south” and a run north up U.S. Highway 1.

The third route is the only one on the port’s page that touches S.R. 417, and it runs the wrong way for a Disney guest. Orlando Sanford International Airport is placed “approximately 1 hour northwest”, with the instruction to “Exit the airport south to the Central Florida Greenway/ S.R. 417 (Toll Road)” and “Go south 23 miles to S.R. 528 East”. A car leaving the resort area northbound on the same expressway covers a different half of it, under a different operator, at different rates.

S.R. 528 itself has two landlords. Its western and eastern ends belong to Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, which runs “the westernmost eight miles as the Beachline Expressway West between I-4 and Boggy Creek Road as well as the easternmost 15 miles between SR 520 and US-1”, while the Central Florida Expressway Authority operates “the 23 miles that extend from Boggy Creek Road to State Road 520”. S.R. 417 splits the same way, with Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise holding the Southern Connector Extension at the Osceola County end and the Central Florida Expressway Authority holding the middle.

One instruction is the same for every origin, and it is not about Orlando at all. Exit 54A serves the A Terminals, CT-5, -6, -8 and -10, while Exit 54B serves the B Terminals, CT-1 or CT-3, in the wording the Canaveral Port Authority publishes, so the ramp is decided by the berth on the boarding document. Disney Fantasy, Disney Treasure and Disney Wish load at Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 in the port’s current master schedule, both on the A side, while a family staying at a Disney hotel and sailing with Royal Caribbean out of Cruise Terminal 1 needs Exit 54B instead. The berths sitting behind Exit 54A and Exit 54B settle that before the drive, and how Port Canaveral prices and opens its garages settles what happens after it.

Every toll point priced between the resort area and S.R. 528

Twelve toll points carry a published two axle rate on the roads between the Walt Disney World area and Port Canaveral. The table compiles them from the Central Florida Expressway Authority schedule headed “CFX Toll Rates as of July 1, 2026” and from the Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise Central Florida document whose edition is dated August 14, 2026, electronic rate first and by plate second.

    Dallas Plaza, FDOT portion, mile post 26S.R. 528 Beachline EastFlorida’s Turnpike Enterprise$0.28$0.56July 1, 2026

Three numbers in that list carry most of the money. The Beachline West Mainline Plaza is priced at $2.24 with SunPass and $2.54 with TOLL-BY-PLATE as a combined total of a $0.86 Turnpike portion and a $1.38 Central Florida Expressway Authority portion. The John Young Main Plaza and the Boggy Creek Main Plaza on S.R. 417 each cost $1.72 electronic and each doubles to $3.44 without a transponder, the widest electronic to plate gap on any of the three roads.

What no issuer supplies is the sum. Points are priced one at a time on both systems: the Central Florida Expressway Authority publishes a rate per plaza and per ramp, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise does the same and answers route questions with a toll calculator at floridasturnpike.com, and neither agency publishes which of the twelve a car from a Disney hotel actually crosses.

Three schedules price this drive and the oldest one sits nearest Disney

The Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise Central Florida document carries five effective dates at once, and the segment closest to Walt Disney World holds one of the oldest. Its Turnpike mainline table reads “FDOT Toll Rates – Effective August 14, 2026”. Its Beachline West and Beachline East tables read July 1, 2026. Its Southern Connector Extension table, the S.R. 417 stretch that begins near Celebration, reads February 21, 2025.

Seventeen months separate those two schedules inside the same file. The Seminole Expressway section of S.R. 417 is older still at June 1, 2024, and the Wekiva Parkway table dates from July 1, 2023. A traveler who reads one page of that document and assumes the rest is current has read a 2025 price as a 2026 price.

Winner by scenario, on published rates alone. A driver with a SunPass or E-PASS transponder taking the I-4 approach gets the only run with an addable answer, since all three of its mainline plazas are priced in current 2026 tables, and what the same run costs from the other Orlando starting points follows the same arithmetic. A driver in a rental car has no publishable answer on any approach, because Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise states that “The TOLL-BY-PLATE payment option is not available for customers in rental cars” and that each company has a different payment arrangement, which moves the toll into the rental contract. A passenger who buys the cruise line transfer removes the toll question entirely and pays for that with a fare Disney Cruise Line does not publish on its public site, alongside the operators working the Orlando airport leg.

What a Walt Disney World departure meets that an airport departure does not

    • Two different toll points are both called Osceola Parkway. Interchange 3 on the Southern Connector Extension is priced at $0.58 with SunPass and $0.86 by plate, while mile post 249 on the Turnpike mainline is $1.16 and $1.45, twice the money for the same road name.
    • Terminal parking garages and surface lots at Port Canaveral do not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers, so a car that leaves a Disney hotel at 7 AM reaches a closed gate even on the 1 hour 30 minutes Disney Cruise Line publishes.
    • Rental returns work against the drive. A SunPass Portable has to have the rental plate added to the account with start and end dates and the transponder removed on return, per Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, and the fallback of a mailed invoice with its $2.50 administrative fee is closed to rental customers anyway.
    • No S.R. 417 ramp toll appears where the Central Florida Expressway Authority lists its S.R. 528 entries, which run Boggy Creek Road/McCoy Road, Conway Road/Tradeport Drive, Innovation Way and Dallas Blvd., so moving between the two expressways is not itself a priced point.
    • Disney Wish does not always load at Cruise Terminal 8. The port’s master schedule for September 2026 to February 2027 places it at Cruise Terminal 10 on isolated dates including 4, 7, 11 and 25 September and 4, 18, 24 and 31 December, and both berths sit behind Exit 54A.
    • Ground transportation with Disney Cruise Line is arranged “through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or My Reservations”, which keeps the price off any page a traveler can compare before booking.
    • Payment at the gate is card only. Port Canaveral has “gone cashless” and takes American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover against the $20.00 per day plus tax rate the Canaveral Port Authority publishes.

Where a park morning and a boarding window collide

Budgeting the drive with an airport figure is the first and most expensive error. Approximately 45 minutes is what the Canaveral Port Authority publishes from Orlando International Airport, against the 1 hour 30 minutes Disney Cruise Line publishes from Walt Disney World Resort, so a party that copies the shorter number has spent 45 minutes it does not have before traffic enters the calculation.

Reading a February 2025 rate as a 2026 rate comes second. The Southern Connector Extension table has not been reissued since February 21, 2025 while the Turnpike mainline table beside it carries August 14, 2026, and its $0.58 and $0.86 entries are therefore the oldest numbers in the compilation above.

Counting on TOLL-BY-PLATE in a rental car comes third. The invoice never reaches the driver, since Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise excludes rental customers from that option and the rental company applies its own arrangement, so the $3.44 by plate figure at the John Young Main Plaza and the $1.45 at mile post 249 are floors rather than prices.

Taking Exit 54A because the ship sails from Port Canaveral comes fourth. Royal Caribbean loads at Cruise Terminal 1 on the B side, so a Disney hotel guest sailing with another line and following a Disney habit turns off one exit early and doubles back along the busiest stretch of the run.

Leaving at dawn to beat the drive comes fifth. Royal Caribbean states that guests who arrive early will not be able to begin boarding and that everyone must be aboard no later than 90 minutes before port operations close, Carnival asks for arrival within the assigned Arrival Appointment, and port garages stay shut until 10 AM. Time saved on S.R. 528 is time spent in a parking lot.

When these figures were read and what they do not cover

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. No provider paid for placement here, and none can pay to appear. Where a booking link earns Lot and Gate a commission it is marked as sponsored and flagged in this line, and as of September 2026 no affiliate link is live anywhere on this site.

One figure here sits below the rest and says so. The 1 hour 30 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort belongs to Disney Cruise Line, and disneycruise.disney.go.com served a JavaScript shell with no readable text to repeated automated reads in August 2026, so that sentence could not be re-checked on the page itself. Every toll rate above came from an issuer PDF read directly, as did the eight miles of Beachline West, the 23 miles of Central Florida Expressway Authority pavement and the 15 miles of Beachline East that make up S.R. 528.

Questions about driving from Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral

Six questions, answered from the same August 2026 readings of the Canaveral Port Authority, the Central Florida Expressway Authority and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise.

How far is Port Canaveral from Disney World?

No public authority publishes a mileage from Walt Disney World Resort to Port Canaveral. The drive time Disney Cruise Line publishes is 1 hour 30 minutes, and the Canaveral Port Authority publishes driving directions from three airports only. Uber prints 61 miles between Cape Canaveral and Lake Buena Vista as a historical average, which names neither the resort nor the port, so the resort area still has a time and no measured distance behind it.

Which toll roads connect the Walt Disney World area to Port Canaveral?

Three carry priced points. I-4 feeds the Beachline West Mainline Plaza on S.R. 528, S.R. 417 carries the Southern Connector Extension and the John Young Main Plaza, and the Florida’s Turnpike mainline prices ramps at mile posts 249, 251 and 259 across Osceola and Orange counties.

What do the tolls cost between Walt Disney World and S.R. 528?

Point by point rather than as a total. Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise prices the Osceola Parkway ramp on S.R. 417 at $0.58 with SunPass, and the Central Florida Expressway Authority prices the John Young Main Plaza at $1.72 electronic and $3.44 by plate. Neither agency publishes a route total.

Can a rental car use TOLL-BY-PLATE on the way to Port Canaveral?

No. The TOLL-BY-PLATE payment option is not available for customers in rental cars, per Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, and each company has a different payment arrangement. The $2.54 and $3.44 by plate rates in the 2026 tables are therefore a floor, with the rental agency adding its own fee.

Does Disney Cruise Line publish the price of its Walt Disney World transfer?

Not on its public website. Ground transportation is arranged through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or My Reservations, and the Port Canaveral pages of disneycruise.disney.go.com returned a JavaScript shell with no readable fare to automated reads in August 2026, so the price cannot be compared before booking.

When does a Walt Disney World departure need to leave on embarkation day?

No issuer publishes a departure hour. The constraints are the boarding time the cruise line assigns, the Canaveral Port Authority rule that garages do not open before 10 AM, and the 1 hour 30 minutes Disney Cruise Line publishes for the drive, which together set the earliest useful arrival.

The resort area buys road that the airport never pays for

Distance is the wrong unit for a question that has no published distance. What Walt Disney World Resort has is a drive time from a cruise operator, a set of toll points priced one at a time by two agencies working from schedules dated February 21, 2025 and August 14, 2026, and an exit number that comes from the ship rather than from the origin. Answers arrive in pieces. Port Canaveral owns the ramps at the end, the Central Florida Expressway Authority and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise own the $0.28 to $2.24 in between, and nobody owns the leg out of the resort.

Two clocks close on this drive, and only one of them is the road.

How far Port Canaveral sits from the four places people call Orlando

Port Canaveral sits 42 miles from Orlando International Airport by the airport’s own count, and approximately 45 minutes east of it by the port’s. The figure Disney Cruise Line publishes from Walt Disney World Resort is 1 hour 30 minutes. No public authority publishes a mileage from the theme parks, International Drive or downtown Orlando.

Orlando is not a point on this drive, and the single mileage that circulates for it belongs to one building. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority publishes its airport as the closest commercial airport to the Central Florida attractions (20 miles), the Orange County Convention Center (13 miles), International Drive (13 miles) and downtown Orlando (12 miles). Four starting points, spread across 20 miles, before anyone turns east.

What follows is what each issuer prints, under that issuer’s name, with the gaps left as gaps. Where nobody publishes a distance from a starting point, the entry says so rather than filling the hole with an estimate.

Starting pointDistance published to Port CanaveralDrive time published to Port CanaveralIssuer of the figures

Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB)25 milesapproximately 40 minutes; 50 minutes by a second issuerCanaveral Port Authority and Disney Cruise Line

Every line above was read from the issuer’s own page in August 2026. The bottom row carries Orlando in its name and sits in Brevard County, which is the first sign that the word is doing more work than a map can support.

Three issuers answer the same question in three different units

The 42 mile figure has an owner. “The 42 mile route between Port Canaveral and Orlando International Airport” is the wording the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority publishes on its cruise transfers page, verified August 2026.

MSC Cruises prints a different number for the same pair of endpoints: “Orlando International Airport is located south-east of central Orlando and approximately 46 miles west of Port Canaveral cruise port”. That sentence comes with a caveat worth stating plainly. The domain msccruisesusa.com returned HTTP 403 to a direct read in August 2026, so the wording above was recovered from a search result snippet of the issuer’s own page, not from the page itself, and it ranks below a direct read.

The Canaveral Port Authority, which owns the destination, publishes no mileage from Orlando at all. Its directions page places Orlando International Airport “approximately 45 minutes west of Port Canaveral”, gives Melbourne Orlando International Airport as “approximately 25 miles (40 minutes) south” and Orlando Sanford International Airport as “approximately 1 hour northwest”. Two of the three carry a distance. The one most travelers need does not.

A fourth voice disagrees with the third. Disney Cruise Line publishes “1 hour from Orlando International Airport” for the trip the port times at approximately 45 minutes, a 15 minute spread between two organizations that both run operations at the receiving end. Neither MSC Cruises nor Disney Cruise Line publishes the route it measured.

Competence settles the disagreement leg by leg rather than by averaging. The airport measures from its own terminals and access roads, so its 42 mile route is the figure used here for everything west of S.R. 520. Exits and the final approach belong to the Canaveral Port Authority, so its minutes govern the coastal end. A cruise line owns neither end of the drive.

The Beachline runs 46 miles from I-4 before either port exit

S.R. 528 is not one road with one operator. The Central Florida Expressway Authority states that “CFX operates the 23 miles that extend from Boggy Creek Road to State Road 520”, and that Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise “operates the westernmost eight miles as the Beachline Expressway West between I-4 and Boggy Creek Road as well as the easternmost 15 miles between SR 520 and US-1”.

Add the three segments and the Beachline covers 46 miles between I-4 and U.S. 1. Neither agency prints that sum, and it does not reconcile with the 42 mile route the airport publishes for a trip that begins east of I-4 and ends east of U.S. 1. Two ways of measuring, two answers, no route total from either. MSC Cruises happens to publish 46 miles as well, a match the arithmetic cannot confirm, since no issuer says which segments its figure covers.

Where a car joins the road decides how much of it that car buys. A departure from Orlando International Airport enters at the Boggy Creek Road end, where the Turnpike section stops and the CFX section starts. A departure from Walt Disney World Resort, International Drive or the Orange County Convention Center reaches the same expressway through I-4, at the far western end, and buys the eight mile section that airport traffic never touches.

The last mile belongs to the boarding document. The Canaveral Port Authority publishes “Exit 54A for A Terminals (CT-5, -6, -8 and -10) or Exit 54B for B Terminals (CT-1 or CT-3)”, so the terminal printed on the cruise document, and not the name of the destination, decides the ramp. The berth each cruise line uses at Port Canaveral is what turns that instruction into an exit number, and the port’s garages, rates and 10 AM parking opening govern what happens after it.

What a start on I-4 adds in tolls that a start at the airport does not

Tolls are where the choice of origin turns into money. Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise prices the Beachline West mainline plaza at $2.24 with SunPass and $2.54 with TOLL-BY-PLATE for a two axle vehicle, in the table effective July 1, 2026. That plaza sits on the eight mile section between I-4 and Boggy Creek Road, west of the point where airport traffic joins.

Two further mainline plazas follow, and both origins cross them. Beachline Main Plaza costs $1.08 electronic and $2.16 by plate in the schedule the Central Florida Expressway Authority lists as of July 1, 2026, and the Florida’s Turnpike map totals the two portions of Dallas Plaza at $0.92 with SunPass and $1.84 with TOLL-BY-PLATE.

Adding the plazas each car crosses eastbound gives the gap. A car from I-4 pays $4.24 with a transponder and $6.54 without one. A car from the airport pays $2.00 and $4.00. Those four figures are sums of the plazas named above and nothing more, because the ramp a driver uses changes the result and no agency publishes a route total.

Starting pointWhere it joins S.R. 528Mainline plazas crossed eastboundTransponder total, two axlesTOLL-BY-PLATE total, two axles
Walt Disney World Resort, International Drive or the Orange County Convention CenterI-4, at the western end of the BeachlineBeachline West, Beachline Main, Dallas$4.24$6.54

Melbourne Orlando International AirportU.S. Highway 1 near Cocoa, east of every plazanone in the 2026 tables$0.00 in mainline plazas$0.00 in mainline plazas

One column is unavailable to a large share of readers. Florida’s Turnpike states that “The TOLL-BY-PLATE payment option is not available for customers in rental cars” and that each company has a different payment arrangement, which moves the toll out of a published table and into the rental agreement.

Why the minutes rank these origins differently from the miles

Ranked by what an issuer will put in print, the Orlando starting points fall in an order the map does not suggest. Orlando International Airport is the single origin in the city with a published mileage to Port Canaveral, 42 miles, and it also carries the published spread: approximately 45 minutes from the Canaveral Port Authority against 1 hour from Disney Cruise Line.

Walt Disney World Resort carries the widest published figure and the thinnest evidence: 1 hour 30 minutes, from Disney Cruise Line, twice what the port prints for the airport, with no mileage attached and no second issuer to check it against. Travelers leaving International Drive or downtown Orlando have less than that. What the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority publishes for those two points is 13 miles and 12 miles to its own terminals, and nothing at all to the coast.

Three scenarios, all of them published, none of them a traffic estimate. The favorable case is the 45 minutes the port prints for the airport. The normal case is the 1 hour Disney Cruise Line prints for the same trip. The unfavorable case is the 1 hour 30 minutes Disney prints from its own resort. Congestion ranges are published by nobody, so the worst case here is somebody’s clear road.

Rounding Orlando to a point is a habit across issuers. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex publishes “approximately 50 miles/80 km” from Orlando by S.R. 528 and “approximately 50 miles/80 km” from Orlando by S.R. 50, two different roads to the same gate on Merritt Island with one number between them. A 20 mile wide origin gets a single figure because the alternative is a table.

Winner by scenario, on published evidence alone. A traveler starting at Orlando International Airport gets the most reliable planning number, since two issuers print one and the airport names both endpoints; the detail of what each operator on the Orlando airport run charges follows from there. A traveler starting at Walt Disney World Resort should budget the 1 hour 30 minutes rather than the airport’s 45, because the figure comes from the company operating both ends of its own transfer. A traveler on International Drive or downtown has no published figure to the coast, and the nearest anchor is the airport, 13 and 12 miles away, which is where the three airports serving Port Canaveral compare on published fares becomes the more useful question.

Details that move the clock more than the mileage does

    • Terminal parking garages and surface lots at Port Canaveral do not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers, so a 45 minute drive started at dawn converts into a wait outside a closed gate.
    • Driving directions from the Canaveral Port Authority cover Orlando International, Melbourne Orlando International and Orlando Sanford International, and no other origin: no theme park, no downtown, no I-4 entry point, verified August 2026.
    • Cruise Terminal 8 at 9155 Charles M. Rowland Drive and Cruise Terminal 10 at 9005 are the two berths Disney Cruise Line lists for Port Canaveral, both on the A side, so its 1 hour 30 minutes ends at Exit 54A.
    • The same Disney page answered one automated read in Spanish and another in English during August 2026, and the three driving times were identical in both.
    • Norwegian Cruise Line publishes about 10 miles of S.R. 528 east of the U.S. Highway 1 junction and approximately 12 miles from I-95 exit 205, mileages for the final approach that the port itself does not publish.
    • No toll point east of S.R. 520 appears in the 2026 tables of the Central Florida Expressway Authority or of Florida’s Turnpike, so the coastal end of the drive carries no toll whichever Orlando it started in.
    • The MSC Cruises page carrying the 46 mile sentence returned HTTP 403 in August 2026, which is why that figure appears here as a snippet and not as a verified read.

What a single Orlando number costs on embarkation morning

Budgeting a theme park departure with the airport’s clock is the expensive one. The 1 hour 30 minutes Disney Cruise Line publishes from Walt Disney World Resort stands against the approximately 45 minutes the Canaveral Port Authority publishes from Orlando International Airport, so a party that copies the airport figure loses 45 minutes of its boarding window before traffic is considered.

Averaging 42 and 46 comes second. Those numbers belong to different issuers with different endpoints and no published route, and the mean of two unexplained measurements is a third unexplained measurement. Each figure travels with its owner or it does not travel.

Assuming the toll is the same from every Orlando start comes third. Three mainline plazas stand between I-4 and the coast against two from the airport, a difference of $2.24 with a transponder in the Florida’s Turnpike table effective July 1, 2026, doubled on the return.

Taking Exit 54A because the ship sails from Port Canaveral comes fourth. Royal Caribbean publishes Terminal #1 at 9050 Discovery Road among its Port Canaveral addresses, and Cruise Terminal 1 sits on the B side behind Exit 54B, so the wrong ramp costs a turnaround at the end of the longest leg.

Leaving early to beat the drive comes fifth. Royal Caribbean states that guests who arrive early will not be able to begin boarding, and port parking stays shut until 10 AM, so minutes saved on S.R. 528 are spent in a queue rather than on the ship.

Questions travelers ask about the distance from Orlando to Port Canaveral

Six recurring questions, answered with the same August 2026 readings used in the tables above.

How far is Port Canaveral from Orlando?

Orlando International Airport publishes a 42 mile route to Port Canaveral, and the Canaveral Port Authority places the airport approximately 45 minutes west of the port. Disney Cruise Line publishes 1 hour 30 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort. No public authority publishes a mileage from the theme parks or downtown Orlando.

How long is the drive from Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral?

A drive of 1 hour 30 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort to Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 is what Disney Cruise Line publishes. Mileage for that trip is published by no public authority, and the Canaveral Port Authority directions page covers three airports and no theme park origin, verified August 2026. The closest commercial figure is Uber’s, 61 miles between Cape Canaveral and Lake Buena Vista, which is neither the resort nor the port.

Why does one source say 42 miles and another 46 miles?

Two issuers measured different things and neither published its route. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority publishes the 42 mile route between the airport and Port Canaveral. MSC Cruises publishes approximately 46 miles for the same pair, in a sentence readable only as a search snippet because its page returned HTTP 403 in August 2026.

Do you pay more in tolls leaving from Disney than from the airport?

Yes, by one mainline plaza. A car joining S.R. 528 at I-4 crosses the Beachline West plaza, priced at $2.24 with SunPass and $2.54 with TOLL-BY-PLATE, before the two plazas an airport departure also crosses. Eastbound totals come to $4.24 against $2.00 with a transponder.

How far is downtown Orlando from Port Canaveral?

No public authority publishes that distance. What the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority does publish is 12 miles between downtown Orlando and its own terminals, and 13 miles from International Drive and the Orange County Convention Center, and the 42 mile route it publishes to Port Canaveral starts at the airport rather than downtown. Uber prints 46 miles and an average of $62 from Orlando to Cape Canaveral, read in September 2026, which is a historical average between two cities rather than an issuer measuring a route.

Which exit off S.R. 528 leads to Port Canaveral?

Both of them, and the terminal decides. The Canaveral Port Authority publishes Exit 54A for the A Terminals, Cruise Terminal 5, 6, 8 and 10, and Exit 54B for the B Terminals, Cruise Terminal 1 and 3. Royal Caribbean publishes Terminal #1 at 9050 Discovery Road, which sits behind 54B.

The useful number is a pair, not a distance

Ranking Orlando by distance produces an answer that is correct for one building and wrong for the rest of the region. A 20 mile gap separates the terminals of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority from the Central Florida attractions it names, Disney Cruise Line puts 1 hour 30 minutes between its resort and its berth, and the Canaveral Port Authority answers in minutes and declines to print a mile. Three issuers, three units, and an average that belongs to nobody.

A drive that ends at the wrong exit is longer than one that started ten miles further west.

  • Which Port Canaveral terminal each ship sails from this season

Which Port Canaveral terminal each ship sails from this season

Port Canaveral assigns berths by ship, and seven ships get more than one

The berth a named ship uses at Port Canaveral is printed in the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise schedule, a 17 page PDF stamped 27 August 2026. The file names 22 ships loading passengers between 1 September 2026 and 28 February 2027, spread across six numbered berths.

Fifteen of those 22 ships print one berth on every dated row, from first sailing to last. The other seven do not. Counting them means reading all 1,086 rows at once rather than one cruise line at a time, and the count is the reason a passenger who reuses a previous terminal number is guessing.

Three cases follow. Favorable: the ship holds a single berth, as Disney Treasure does across 26 Saturdays at Cruise Terminal 8. Normal: the berth holds while the weekday moves, as Carnival Freedom does across five different weekdays at Cruise Terminal 6. Unfavorable: the berth itself moves, as it does for Carnival Venezia on 1 November 2026.

The ship name is the key. The cruise line is not.

Six numbered berths carry every departure, and Cruise Terminal 2 carries none

Port Canaveral’s master schedule grid prints six terminal lines for each of its 181 dates, which is where the 1,086 rows of the 27 August 2026 edition come from, and the six are Cruise Terminals 1, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10. No row in the file names Cruise Terminal 2.

Side and exit follow the number rather than the ship. The A Terminals are Cruise Terminals 5, 6, 8 and 10, reached from Exit 54A off S.R. 528, and the B Terminals are Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3, reached from Exit 54B, which is how the Canaveral Port Authority publishes them on its directions page. Of the 559 dated departures in the window, 361 stand behind Exit 54A and 198 behind Exit 54B.

Fifteen ships load only on the A side and five only on the B side. Two use both, which is the point at which the exit stops being a property of the vessel and becomes a property of the date. Street addresses for each number sit in the address by address reading of all seven numbered berths at Port Canaveral, including the two the cruise grid never uses.

Six lines a day. One of them is always empty.

Port Canaveral terminal by ship, all 22 vessels in the current edition

Alphabetical by vessel, because that is how a boarding document reads. The berth column reports what the port prints across the whole window rather than on one date, so a ship with two entries is a ship whose answer depends on when it sails. Row counts are dated departures only, with port calls excluded, and the times are the four digit values converted to a clock.

Ten of the 22 names run the full window. Three stop before December: Caribbean Princess on 18 October 2026, Adventure of the Seas on 5 November 2026 and Norwegian Prima on 12 November 2026. Nine begin after 1 October 2026, the latest of them Sky Princess on 20 November 2026. A name absent from a date is a name the edition does not cover, which is a different thing from a ship that does not sail.

Seven cruise lines produce those 22 names. Royal Caribbean supplies 139 of the 559 dated departures, Carnival Cruise Line 136, Disney Cruise Line 117, Norwegian Cruise Line 67, MSC Cruises 61, Princess Cruises 21 and Celebrity Cruises 18. On its own cruise lines page the Canaveral Port Authority lists eight cruise lines with a phone number for each, and prints a terminal number beside none of them.

Seven ships change berth inside the season and two of them change exit

Seven of the 22 ships print more than one berth between September 2026 and February 2027. Five of the seven move within the A side, where the driver keeps Exit 54A and changes only the gate. Two move across the channel, and those two change the highway exit as well.

Norwegian PrimaCT5 on 9 rows, CT6 on 26 Sep and 4 Oct 2026None, both berths sit behind Exit 54A

Carnival Venezia is the clean case and the expensive one. Its first two sailings, on 10 and 18 October 2026, load at Cruise Terminal 6 behind Exit 54A, while every sailing from 1 November 2026 loads at Cruise Terminal 3 behind Exit 54B. A passenger repeating an October drive in November crosses the channel by mistake. That move is traced date by date in the reading of both Carnival berths and what the November change does to a boarding pass.

Carnival Glory is the awkward case, with 38 rows at Cruise Terminal 3, a single Cruise Terminal 6 row on 20 September 2026 that prints no arrival or departure time at all, and a single Cruise Terminal 1 row on 30 January 2027. Disney Wish alternates on a longer cycle, and the 16 dated rows that move Disney Wish to Cruise Terminal 10 lists each one against the ship using Cruise Terminal 8 that day.

Which source wins depends on the ship, and the split is countable. For 15 of the 22 ships the master schedule is the stronger source, because it exists months before a boarding document does and never contradicts one in this edition. For the seven movers the boarding document wins outright, and for Carnival Venezia and Carnival Glory the disagreement is worth a U turn on S.R. 528 with luggage in the car. The schedule stops being usable as a berth source the moment a ship appears in the table above.

Ten ships appear at Port Canaveral all season and board nobody

The Port of Call column separates a visit from a sailing, and 42 rows in the file carry that flag. Ten named ships appear only in flagged rows across the whole window, so no passenger boards them at Port Canaveral: AIDAdiva, American Pioneer, Amerian Ranger, Aurora, L’Austral, Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Pearl, Oasis of the Seas, Odyssey of the Seas and Queen Anne.

Two of those names cause real confusion because they read like departures. Oasis of the Seas prints nine flagged rows at Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3 and Odyssey of the Seas prints eleven, both of them Royal Caribbean ships at berths where Royal Caribbean genuinely sails. All 20 of those rows carry the same pair of times, 1:00 pm in and 8:00 pm out, which is the shape of a call rather than an embarkation morning.

Norwegian Bliss prints six flagged rows, three of them at Cruise Terminal 10, each arriving 6:00 am and leaving 9:00 pm, which feeds a belief the four sailing Norwegian ships contradict; the split of Norwegian departures between Cruise Terminal 5 and Cruise Terminal 6 counts them row by row. An eleventh name sits between the two states. Mein Schiff 1 carries flagged rows at Cruise Terminal 8 on 27 September 2026 and Cruise Terminal 6 on 26 October 2026, plus one Cruise Terminal 10 row on 16 October 2026 with no flag and no times printed. A row with no times is not a sailing anyone should drive to.

Cruise Terminal 6 hosts nine ships while Cruise Terminal 1 hosts four

Reading the index backwards changes which berth looks busy. The 112 dated departures at Cruise Terminal 1 are the highest count in the file and come from four ships, while the 93 at Cruise Terminal 6 come from nine ships across four cruise lines. Volume and variety do not sit at the same gate.

At the predictable end of the range stands Cruise Terminal 8, with 101 departures from three ships and one operator, and Disney Fantasy, Disney Treasure and Disney Wish are the only names that ever print there, each of them at 6:00 am. Between those poles sit the other four. MSC Seashore, MSC Grandiosa and the Disney Wish overflow produce 77 departures at Cruise Terminal 10. Carnival Glory, Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Venezia and Caribbean Princess produce 86 at Cruise Terminal 3, and seven ships from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line produce 90 at Cruise Terminal 5.

Nine ships print rows at Cruise Terminal 6: Carnival Freedom, Carnival Vista, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Glory, Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Prima, Sky Princess and Adventure of the Seas. A Cruise Terminal 6 sailing is therefore the least safe one to infer from a cruise line name, and the crowding goes to a berth with 19 fewer sailings than Cruise Terminal 1. On the B side the inference is safer, and the Royal Caribbean ships that load from Cruise Terminal 1 and the ones that do not covers the exception at Cruise Terminal 5.

Checks that tie one sailing date at Port Canaveral to one berth

    • Search the file for the ship name and not for the cruise line. Carnival Cruise Line returns 136 dated departures split across two sides of the channel, while Carnival Vista returns 26, all of them at Cruise Terminal 6.
    • Read the weekday column as a sanity check on the date. Utopia of the Seas prints 50 departures on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and none on a Saturday, so a Saturday row under that name is a misread.
    • Treat a blank Ship cell as an idle berth rather than as missing data. 481 of the 1,086 rows carry no ship name, and 29 dates in the window carry no departure from any berth.
    • Check the holidays separately. No berth shows a ship on 25 December 2026 or on 1 January 2027, and Disney Wish shifts to Thursday 24 December 2026 and Thursday 31 December 2026 instead of its usual Friday.
    • Avoid assuming that two ships of one cruise line share a side on the same day. That assumption fails on 55 dates in this window, 37 of them Carnival Cruise Line and 18 Royal Caribbean.
    • Read the departure time as a departure rather than as a boarding deadline. A 4:00 pm value in the last column is the ship leaving, Royal Caribbean requires guests aboard 90 minutes before port operations close, and the port’s garages do not open before 10 AM on an embarkation morning.
    • Save the PDF instead of bookmarking the link, then compare the saved copy against the live one before driving. How to tell which edition of the master cruise schedule you are holding lists the six checks that separate one edition from the next.
    • Phone what the file leaves blank. The Ground Transportation office at 445 Challenger Road answers on (321) 394-3203, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Where a ship name lookup sends a car to the wrong Port Canaveral ramp

Five failures repeat, and each one comes from asking the index a question it does not answer.

Looking up the cruise line rather than the vessel. Carnival Cruise Line loads at Cruise Terminal 3 and Cruise Terminal 6 in the same week, one behind Exit 54B and the other behind Exit 54A, so the line name narrows nothing.

Reusing the berth from the same ship’s last sailing. Disney Wish alternates between Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 across 16 dates, and Carnival Venezia changes berth permanently on 1 November 2026.

Counting a flagged row as a departure. Odyssey of the Seas prints 11 rows at Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3 in this edition and boards nobody at either, which can turn a parking booking into eight billed days at $20.00 per day plus tax, or $160.00 before tax, against a cruise that leaves from somewhere else.

Taking the berth from a cruise line page. Norwegian Cruise Line publishes driving directions to Port Canaveral without a berth number, and the port’s own cruise lines page publishes eight phone numbers without one either.

Reading the index as permanent. The Canaveral Port Authority reissues the file without notice, and the version token in the link archives nothing.

How this Port Canaveral index by ship was compiled

Every count above comes from one document: the master cruise schedule PDF linked from the Canaveral Port Authority cruise ship schedule page, 17 pages, stamped 27 August 2026, read row by row rather than date by date.

Questions about which Port Canaveral berth a named ship uses

The answers below come from the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise schedule for 1 September 2026 to 28 February 2027, read in August 2026.

What terminal is Disney Wish at Port Canaveral?

Both Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10, depending on the sailing date. The Canaveral Port Authority master schedule prints Disney Wish at Cruise Terminal 8 on 35 rows and at Cruise Terminal 10 on 16 between 4 September 2026 and 26 February 2027. Both berths sit behind Exit 54A.

How many ships sail from Port Canaveral this season, and from which terminals?

22 ships load passengers between 1 September 2026 and 28 February 2027, across Cruise Terminals 1, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10. The busiest is berth 1 with 112 dated departures and the quietest berth 10 with 77. No row in the file names Cruise Terminal 2.

Do ships change terminal at Port Canaveral during the same season?

Seven of the 22 do. Adventure of the Seas, Carnival Glory, Carnival Venezia, Disney Wish, Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Prima each print more than one berth in the current edition. Only Carnival Glory and Carnival Venezia change the S.R. 528 exit as well.

Which Port Canaveral ships sail from Exit 54B?

Utopia of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas and Star of the Seas at Cruise Terminal 1, and Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Glory and Caribbean Princess at Cruise Terminal 3. Those seven ships account for 198 of the 559 dated departures in the window.

Does a ship listed at a Port Canaveral terminal always board passengers there?

No. 42 rows carry the Port of Call flag, which marks a visit. Ten ships appear only in flagged rows and board nobody at Port Canaveral, and their hours are not one shape. The 20 rows belonging to Oasis of the Seas, which has nine, and Odyssey of the Seas, which has eleven, all print 1:00 pm in and 8:00 pm out. The six rows of Norwegian Bliss print 6:00 am in and 9:00 pm out.

What if my ship is missing from the Port Canaveral schedule?

A missing name means the edition does not cover that date, not that the ship never sails. MSC Grandiosa has no row before 14 November 2026 and Explorer of the Seas none before 13 November 2026. The current edition runs to 28 February 2027 and no further.

Twenty two names, six berths, and an index with an expiry date

A ship name reads like a permanent property of a cruise and behaves like a lookup key into a spreadsheet somebody exported on 27 August 2026. Fifteen of the 22 names resolve to one berth and stay there for six months. Seven resolve to two or three, and for Carnival Glory and Carnival Venezia the second answer sits on the far side of the channel behind a different ramp off S.R. 528. An index by ship beats an index by cruise line for exactly that reason, and it is worth nothing at all once the Canaveral Port Authority posts the next edition over the same link.

MSC Cruises at Port Canaveral: Terminal 10 and who else uses it

Where MSC Cruises loads at Port Canaveral, and the 22 rows that are not its own

Cruise Terminal 10 is the Port Canaveral berth MSC Cruises uses on all 61 dates printed for it between 1 September 2026 and 28 February 2027. MSC Seashore takes 45 of those rows and MSC Grandiosa 16, the first on 14 November 2026. Twenty two further rows at the same berth carry another line’s ship.

Those counts come from the port rather than from the cruise line. Every msccruisesusa.com address read here in August 2026 answered an automated request with HTTP 403 and an Access Denied body under 450 bytes, robots.txt included. That page is not legible, so the figures below are attributed to the Canaveral Port Authority.

At 9005 Charles Rowland Dr., Cruise Terminal 10 sits on the north bank of the channel the port labels A, behind Exit 54A off S.R. 528. The address holds whoever is docked. The calendar does the rest.

Why msccruisesusa.com is not legible and what that leaves standing

Three MSC Cruises pages hold the Port Canaveral answers a passenger wants, and none of the three returned readable text in August 2026. The Port Canaveral landing page answered 403 with 393 bytes, the cruise transfers page 403 with 444 bytes, the embarkation page 403 with 435 bytes.

Refusal covers the whole host rather than one section. The site root answered 403 with 375 bytes and robots.txt answered 403 with 389 bytes, so even the file a crawler reads to learn what it may read is blocked. Each body carried the title Access Denied and a link to errors.edgesuite.net, the error host of the Akamai delivery network.

What survives of MSC Cruises is a handful of search engine snippets: terminal 10, exit 54A, approximately 46 miles, a transfer desk number. A snippet carries no date and cannot be reopened in context, so where the Canaveral Port Authority publishes the same fact, the figure used here is the port’s.

An unreadable issuer does not stop a fact. It moves the burden.

The A side of Port Canaveral, Exit 54A and what the Cruise Terminal 10 page gives a driver

Exit 54A off S.R. 528 serves the four berths the Canaveral Port Authority groups as A Terminals, CT-5, CT-6, CT-8 and CT-10, while Exit 54B serves CT-1 and CT-3 on the south bank. For drivers coming from Orlando International Airport, the one MSC Cruises instruction that survives as a snippet is to connect to State Road 528 east and take exit 54A for the A cruise terminals.

Precision stops at the ramp. The Cruise Terminal 10 arrival guide read in August 2026 runs four instructions, names no cruise line, prints no street address and gives no exit number. Routing is handed to two Apple Maps destinations given as coordinates, 28.41083, -80.62845 for passenger drop-off and 28.41126, -80.63080 for parking.

Rates do not move with the berth, because the Canaveral Port Authority charges $20.00 per day plus tax for a passenger vehicle at every terminal, counts the day of arrival and the day of departure, takes cards only and opens its garages at 10 AM for embarkation. Addresses, sides and ramps for all seven berths are laid out in the reading of the seven numbered berths and the ramp each one takes.

One ramp, four gates, one price.

Every MSC sailing the Port Canaveral master schedule prints this season

Ship assignments at Port Canaveral live in a single document, a 17 page PDF created on 27 August 2026 that covers 181 dates from 1 September 2026 to 28 February 2027 in 1,086 rows. The edition gives MSC Cruises 61 of those rows, and every one of them sits at Cruise Terminal 10. None carries the Port of Call flag, so all 61 are turnarounds.

Gaps between consecutive MSC Seashore dates take three values and no others: 19 gaps of 3 days, 18 of 4 days and 7 of 7 days. The Sunday column never breaks, since the ship is printed on all 26 Sundays in the window, while 7 of the 26 Thursdays carry no MSC row at all. The Grandiosa pattern is simpler still, 16 Saturdays in an unbroken weekly run from 14 November 2026.

Clock times stop at the end of September. From 1 October 2026 both MSC ships have AM in the arrival cell and PM in the departure cell, so 55 of the 61 rows publish no hour against the 700 and 1700 printed on the six September rows, which read as 7:00 am and 5:00 pm on a 24 hour clock. A passenger reading that column finds nothing to set an alarm by.

The 22 rows at Cruise Terminal 10 printed with someone else’s ship

Across the six month window, Cruise Terminal 10 carries a named ship on 83 of its 181 rows and stands empty on 98, or 54%, which makes it the quietest of the six berths in this edition. Of the 83 named rows, MSC Cruises holds 61, or 73%. The remaining 22, or 27%, belong to four ships from three other companies.

Weekday sorts Cruise Terminal 10 better than the brand does. Sunday belongs to MSC Seashore on 26 rows out of 26, and Saturday belongs to MSC Grandiosa from 14 November 2026 onward. No MSC ship sails a Friday in the edition, and 13 of the 14 named Friday rows carry Disney Wish. The 16 dates the Disney Wish is printed away from its usual berth sets them out one by one.

Exclusivity puts Cruise Terminal 10 in the middle of the six. Disney Cruise Line holds 99% of the named rows at Cruise Terminal 8 and Royal Caribbean 96% at Cruise Terminal 1, against 73% for MSC Cruises here and 57% for Norwegian Cruise Line at Cruise Terminal 5. On that measure the winner is Cruise Terminal 8, where a line’s name really does predict the ship; the qualifier is that no berth at this port reaches 100%.

The gate is MSC’s most of the time. Most is not all.

Forty two miles or forty six, and which figure to plan against

Two issuers publish the distance between Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral and they disagree by 4 miles. On its cruise transfers page, read in August 2026, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority publishes “the 42 mile route between Port Canaveral and Orlando International Airport”. On the cruise line side, MSC Cruises places the airport “approximately 46 miles west of Port Canaveral cruise port”, a sentence that survives only as a snippet because the page holding it returns 403.

The 42 mile figure wins on one criterion, which is verifiability. It is legible in full, in context, on a live page from the authority that runs the airport, while the 46 mile figure cannot be reopened at its source. The spread is 4 miles, just under 10% of the shorter number, and neither figure is a driving time.

Port Canaveral answers in minutes instead. Its directions page calls Orlando International Airport approximately 45 minutes west and labels S.R. 528 East a Toll Road. Held against those 45 minutes, 42 miles implies an average of 56 mph and 46 miles implies 61 mph, and both averages assume no stop at a toll plaza and no queue at the terminal entrance.

Distance is not the variable that decides the drive anyway. The ramp is, and on that point the two issuers agree on exit 54A. How the port numbers its berths and what its garages charge is collected in the single Port Canaveral reference for berths, rates and cruise lines.

What MSC Cruises publishes about its Port Canaveral transfers

Transfers from MSC Cruises exist on two days of a cruise and on no other. What the line publishes is narrow: they run on embarkation day and disembarkation day only, they have to be reserved in advance, and the reservation goes through its call center on 1-877-340-8998, open Monday to Friday 8AM to 11PM ET and Saturday and Sunday 9AM to 9PM ET.

Price is the part that is not published. The MSC page carrying transfer detail returns 403, so no public fare for the Orlando International Airport run can be read from the company that sells it.

Two MSC numbers exist and they answer different questions. On its cruise lines page the Canaveral Port Authority lists MSC Cruises customer service as 1-877-665-4655, beside seven other operators and with no terminal number against any of them, while the transfer desk is the 1-877-340-8998 line.

Details that fix an MSC embarkation at Cruise Terminal 10 before the drive

    • Sunday is the dependable weekday and Friday is the trap. The schedule prints MSC Seashore at Cruise Terminal 10 on all 26 Sundays in the window, gives MSC no Friday row at all, and puts Disney Wish on 13 of the 14 named Friday rows.
    • The berth number lives on the boarding document. The Cruise Terminal 10 arrival guide names no cruise line, and the port’s cruise lines page prints no terminal beside MSC Cruises or beside the other seven operators listed there.
    • Garage doors set the earliest useful arrival. Terminal parking does not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers, at $20.00 per day plus tax counted from the day of arrival, cards only and no cash accepted. What each line prints about that same rate is taken apart in the audit of six issuers quoting one parking price.
    • Two desks take calls and neither covers the other’s ground. Port Canaveral’s Ground Transportation office answers on (321) 394-3203 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, while the MSC transfer line on 1-877-340-8998 runs to 11PM ET on weekdays.
    • A hired car at the curb runs against a clock and a tariff. No commercial vehicle may sit in a loading zone longer than 15 minutes unless it is actively loading, permits start at a non-refundable $50 application fee, and operators are billed per 60 minute block at $5.00 up to 23 feet, $10.00 up to 30 feet and $15.00 above that.
    • The schedule has an edition and the edition is inside the file. The copy read here was created on 27 August 2026 and runs 17 pages, and the port replaces it at the same address without changing the filename.

Where an MSC arrival at Port Canaveral comes apart

Five failures repeat on MSC sailings, each with a document behind it.

Taking Exit 54B with an MSC boarding pass. Cruise Terminal 10 is an A Terminal reached from Exit 54A, while 54B leads to Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3 across the channel.

Reading Cruise Terminal 10 as an MSC building. Another company’s ship is printed there on 22 of the 83 named rows, among them 16 Disney Wish turnarounds and 3 Norwegian Bliss calls.

Budgeting parking from a cruise line page. The rate under the port’s own Parking Rates heading is $20.00 per day plus tax, while the $17.00 figure in circulation traces to a long term line in the port’s FAQ that its issuer never defines.

Arriving at 8 am to secure a space. Garages and surface lots do not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers, and the 700 printed beside a September MSC Seashore row is the ship’s arrival rather than the passenger’s.

Counting on TOLL-BY-PLATE in a rental car. Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise publishes that the TOLL-BY-PLATE payment option is not available for customers in rental cars, so the S.R. 528 tolls come back through the rental contract and its own surcharge.

How these MSC and Cruise Terminal 10 figures were checked

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. No provider paid for placement here, and none can pay to appear. Where a booking link earns Lot and Gate a commission it is marked as sponsored and flagged in this line, and as of September 2026 no affiliate link is live anywhere on this site.

Questions MSC passengers ask about Port Canaveral

The answers below come from the Canaveral Port Authority, from its master cruise schedule for September 2026 to February 2027, from the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, and from what msccruisesusa.com served an automated read in August 2026.

Which terminal does MSC Cruises use at Port Canaveral?

MSC Cruises uses Cruise Terminal 10, at 9005 Charles Rowland Dr., on all 61 dates the Canaveral Port Authority prints for it between 1 September 2026 and 28 February 2027. It is an A Terminal, reached from Exit 54A off S.R. 528. Boarding documents override the schedule.

Is Cruise Terminal 10 at Port Canaveral used only by MSC Cruises?

No. The berth carries a named ship on 83 of its 181 rows in the September 2026 to February 2027 schedule, and MSC holds 61 of them, or 73%. The other 22 rows are 16 Disney Wish sailings, 3 Norwegian Bliss calls, 2 AIDAdiva calls and 1 Mein Schiff 1 row.

Why do MSC Cruises and the airport give different distances to Port Canaveral?

Two issuers disagree. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority publishes a 42 mile route between the airport and Port Canaveral, while MSC Cruises puts the airport approximately 46 miles west. The Canaveral Port Authority gives time instead of distance and calls the airport approximately 45 minutes west.

Does MSC Cruises run transfers between Orlando airport and Port Canaveral?

MSC publishes transfers for embarkation day and disembarkation day only, reserved in advance through its call center on 1-877-340-8998, open Monday to Friday 8AM to 11PM ET and Saturday and Sunday 9AM to 9PM ET. No public fare is readable, because the page holding it returns 403.

What days do MSC Seashore and MSC Grandiosa sail from Port Canaveral?

MSC Seashore is printed on 26 Sundays and 19 Thursdays, 45 rows in all, from 3 September 2026 to 28 February 2027. The Grandiosa is printed on 16 consecutive Saturdays from 14 November 2026 to 27 February 2027. Both sail from Cruise Terminal 10 on every row.

Why is there no readable MSC page giving the Port Canaveral terminal?

Every msccruisesusa.com address read in August 2026 returned HTTP 403 and an Access Denied body of 375 to 444 bytes, robots.txt included. The pages are not legible to an automated read, so the terminal, the exit and the parking rate here are attributed to the Canaveral Port Authority.

The least readable line has the best documented berth

Among the six berths at Port Canaveral, Cruise Terminal 10 is the one where a company name explains the least: Disney Cruise Line holds 99% of the rows at Cruise Terminal 8, MSC Cruises 73% of the rows at its own. The line that publishes nothing an automated reader can open ends up with the berth documented in most detail, because the port had to print what the line would not. Saturday and Sunday are MSC. Friday is not.

Norwegian Cruise Line at Port Canaveral uses Terminal 5 and 6

The Terminal 10 belief, and the two berths Norwegian actually loads from

Norwegian Cruise Line’s berth at Port Canaveral is Cruise Terminal 5 or Cruise Terminal 6, never Cruise Terminal 10, across all 67 sailing dates through February 2027. The Canaveral Port Authority master schedule stamped 27 August 2026 puts 51 of those departures at Terminal 5 and 16 at Terminal 6.

The Terminal 10 idea has a source, and the source is that same file. Norwegian Bliss stands at Cruise Terminal 10 on three dates in the window, 4 November 2026, 27 January 2027 and 24 February 2027, and each of those rows carries the Port of Call flag. A flagged call takes on no passengers.

Three cases follow. Favorable: the boarding document names a berth and the schedule row for that date agrees, which is what happens on the 51 Terminal 5 dates. Normal: nothing names a berth, and the weekday pattern settles it. Unfavorable: the ship moves berth mid season, as Norwegian Escape does on 20 November 2026, and the error costs 463 feet of Charles Rowland Dr.

    Two gates. One highway exit.

Cruise Terminal 5 and Cruise Terminal 6 stand four street numbers apart

Cruise Terminal 5 sits at 9245 Charles Rowland Dr. and Cruise Terminal 6 at 9241, both in Cape Canaveral, FL 32920. Exit 54A off S.R. 528 serves them both, because the Canaveral Port Authority lists Cruise Terminals 5, 6, 8 and 10 as its A Terminals and routes Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3 through Exit 54B.

That geometry is the practical advantage of a Norwegian booking here. Whichever of the four ships is loading, the ramp is Exit 54A, so the last decision on a drive the port measures as approximately 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport is already made.

Two other operators work differently. Carnival Cruise Line publishes A-Side North Cruise Terminal #6 and B-Side South Cruise Terminal #3, one on each side of the channel, and Royal Caribbean lists Terminal #1 on Discovery Road beside Terminal #5 and Terminal #6, so for those two the exit changes with the ship. The berth by berth map is in the reading of all seven numbered terminals and the exit each one answers to.

On that point the Norwegian Cruise Line directions agree with the port and on nothing more specific: all four route blocks it publishes end on the same instruction, follow the signs for the A-Side (North) Terminal.

Every Norwegian ship the master schedule names, and the berth beside it

Four Norwegian ships load passengers at Port Canaveral in the current edition and two more appear only as visitors. The table reads the 1,086 terminal rows of the September 2026 to February 2027 file, 74 of which name a Norwegian vessel.

Down the berth column the split is 51 rows at Terminal 5 against 16 at Terminal 6, or 76% and 24% of the 67 departures. Across the ships it is looser than it looks: three of the four turnaround ships appear at both berths, and only Norwegian Epic keeps one from first row to last.

How the Port of Call flag separates a call from a Norwegian departure

Seven of the 74 Norwegian rows carry the words Port of Call in the last column, and those seven are the ones putting a Norwegian hull at Cruise Terminal 10 or Cruise Terminal 3. No legend appears in the 17 page file: the Canaveral Port Authority publishes the column without defining it.

What the date is worth to a driverAn embarkation, with parking billed from that morningn/a, since a call loads nobody at Port Canaveral

The departure hour is the tell that survives a bad photocopy. Every Norwegian turnaround row leaves at 1600 or 1800, which is 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm, and 37 of them arrive at 700, or 7:00 am, while all seven call rows leave at 2000 or 2100, meaning 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm. A Norwegian ship against Terminal 10 with a 9:00 pm departure is a ship spending the day in port.

The arrival column will not confirm any of it. Twenty five rows in this edition print an arrival later than the departure, and all of them belong to Norwegian Getaway or Norwegian Escape, a defect counted in the row by row audit of what the master schedule gets wrong. One column carries the flag. The clock beside it does not.

What Norwegian Cruise Line publishes about its own Port Canaveral berth

Norwegian Cruise Line publishes no terminal number for Port Canaveral. Its driving directions page names the destination as Terminal de Puerto Cañaveral and points at portcanaveral.com, with no street address, no berth digit and no map pin. The English URL served this reader the Spanish edition of the site in August 2026, so the wording quoted here is translated.

What it carries is four road approaches. From I-95 it gives Exit 205 and about 12 miles east on the Beachline Expressway. From Melbourne, about 20 minutes north on U.S. Highway 1 past S.R. 520 in Cocoa, about 1 mile more to the ramp, then about 10 miles of S.R. 528 East. From Orlando International Airport and from Tampa, no distance at all.

A second Norwegian document for the same port is still online. The PDF at ncl.com titled Directions to Port of Canaveral, whose file properties give a creation date of 21 April 2011, quotes parking at $15/night for vehicles up to 20 feet in length and $26/night for longer ones, and links to a portcanaveral.com address that no longer resolves. The current Norwegian directions page gives $17.00 per day against the $20.00 per day plus tax the port charges, a gap taken apart in the audit of what each cruise line publishes about Port Canaveral parking.

Three documents from one company, and not one of them names a gate.

One exit, two gates, and the arrival guides that differ between them

A separate arrival guide covers each berth, and the two Norwegian pages are not copies of each other. The Cruise Terminal 5 guide lists two routes, pickup and drop-off plus parking, and sends both to one Apple Maps pin at 28.417932, -80.627850. The Cruise Terminal 6 guide lists three.

Those three are luggage drop off, passenger drop off and parking, each with its own coordinate pair. The luggage pin and the passenger pin sit 294 feet apart, the luggage pin and the parking pin 720 feet, or 0.14 miles. Dropping bags first at Cruise Terminal 6 means two stops the Cruise Terminal 5 page never describes.

Between the berths themselves the gap is smaller than the confusion suggests: the Cruise Terminal 5 pin and the Cruise Terminal 6 passenger pin lie 463 feet apart, or 0.09 miles, on one street behind one ramp.

The winner by scenario is easy to state. For a driver who knows only that the ship is Norwegian, Exit 54A wins outright, since both berths sit behind it. For one whose document names Cruise Terminal 6, the port’s guide wins over the cruise line paperwork: it is the page that separates the luggage route from the passenger route. Neither names an operator, and the wider layout of garages is in the Port Canaveral reference that ties every terminal to its exit and its parking rate.

Details that settle a Norwegian berth before the drive

    • The boarding document is the only issuer that names a berth for a given sailing. The port’s cruise lines page lists Norwegian Cruise Line with the number 1-866-234-7350 and no terminal beside it.
    • In the Sunday slot, Norwegian Epic holds Cruise Terminal 5 on all 16 of its rows, and Norwegian Prima held it on 9 of its 11 before leaving the file on 12 November 2026.
    • Norwegian Escape is the ship to check twice, printed at Cruise Terminal 6 on 13 rows and at Terminal 5 on 3, including the Fridays of 20 November and 18 December 2026.
    • The garages open at 10 AM on embarkation day, according to the Canaveral Port Authority, and take payment on entry by card. An early arrival at either Norwegian berth waits outside the barrier.
    • Terminal 10 enters a Norwegian itinerary as a stop, not a start: on 4 November 2026, 27 January 2027 and 24 February 2027 it holds Norwegian Bliss from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Five ways the Terminal 10 assumption costs a Norwegian passenger

Driving to 9005 Charles Rowland Dr. on a sailing day. Cruise Terminal 10 is a working berth for MSC Seashore and MSC Grandiosa, so the address leads to an active gate with the wrong ship behind it.

Reading a Port of Call row as a sailing. All six Norwegian rows outside Terminals 5 and 6 belong to Norwegian Bliss, which loads nobody here, and the seven flagged rows are under 10% of the Norwegian total.

Trusting a terminal number that came from a cruise line page. No berth digit appears on a Norwegian Cruise Line page for this port: its address block is a port name and a website.

Budgeting from the older Norwegian PDF. Its $15/night figure predates the current rate by fifteen years, and the port’s Parking Rates heading now reads $20.00 per day plus tax.

Treating Terminal 5 and Terminal 6 as interchangeable at the curb. They share Exit 54A and a street, and only the Cruise Terminal 6 guide splits luggage from passengers, a different pin for each.

How these Norwegian berth counts were checked

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. Questions about Norwegian sailings and Port Canaveral berths

The answers below come from the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise schedule and arrival guides, and from the Norwegian Cruise Line pages named above, read in August 2026.

Which terminal does Norwegian Cruise Line use at Port Canaveral?

Cruise Terminal 5 and Cruise Terminal 6, at 9245 and 9241 Charles Rowland Dr. The Canaveral Port Authority master schedule for September 2026 to February 2027 prints 51 Norwegian departures at Terminal 5 and 16 at Terminal 6, and no Norwegian departure anywhere else.

Does Norwegian Cruise Line sail from Terminal 10 at Port Canaveral?

No. Terminal 10 belongs to MSC Seashore and MSC Grandiosa in this edition, with Disney Wish on scattered dates. A Norwegian Bliss row appears there on 4 November 2026, 27 January 2027 and 24 February 2027, and all three carry the Port of Call flag, which marks a visit rather than a sailing.

Which exit off S.R. 528 serves the Norwegian terminals at Port Canaveral?

Exit 54A, the ramp the Canaveral Port Authority assigns to its A Terminals, which are Cruise Terminals 5, 6, 8 and 10. Exit 54B serves Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3. Because both Norwegian berths sit on the A side, the exit does not change with the ship.

Does Norwegian Cruise Line publish its Port Canaveral terminal number?

No. Its driving directions page gives the destination as Terminal de Puerto Cañaveral with a link to portcanaveral.com, and every route it lists ends at the A-Side (North) Terminal signs. A separate Norwegian PDF for the port, created in April 2011, names no berth either.

Can a Norwegian ship change between Terminal 5 and Terminal 6?

Yes, and three of the four turnaround ships do. The schedule prints Norwegian Escape at Cruise Terminal 6 on 13 rows and Cruise Terminal 5 on 3, and Norwegian Prima at Terminal 5 on 9 rows and Terminal 6 on 2. Both berths sit behind Exit 54A, about 463 feet apart.

What does Port of Call mean beside a Norwegian ship in the schedule?

It marks a visit rather than a sailing, so the ship arrives and leaves the same day with its passengers already aboard. All seven Norwegian call rows depart at 2000 or 2100, meaning 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm, while every Norwegian departure row leaves at 1600 or 1800.

A berth Norwegian never mentions and a flag that changes the answer

The Terminal 10 story survives because both halves of it are true in the wrong order. A Norwegian ship does reach Cruise Terminal 10, three times between September 2026 and February 2027, and nobody drives there to catch it. The company selling the cruise publishes four routes into the port without a berth number in any of them, and the authority that assigns the berth prints it only in a spreadsheet exported to PDF on 27 August 2026. The answer sits in one column of one file, and it is the last one.

Carnival at Port Canaveral: two terminals, two exits off S.R. 528

Port Canaveral gives Carnival two berths on opposite sides of the channel

Carnival Cruise Line’s two Port Canaveral berths are Cruise Terminal 3, behind Exit 54B, and Cruise Terminal 6, behind Exit 54A. Favorable case: Carnival Mardi Gras sits at Cruise Terminal 3 on all 26 of its dates. Normal case: one ship, one side, all season. Unfavorable case: Carnival Venezia changes sides on November 1, 2026.

The master cruise schedule the Canaveral Port Authority published for September 2026 through February 2027 lists 136 Carnival calls, and 80 of them stand behind Exit 54B. The other 56 stand behind Exit 54A, on the far side of the harbor.

Those 136 rows are 24.2% of the 563 dated ship rows in the document, second only to Royal Caribbean on 145, and they cover five ships. The line appears on 98 of the 181 dates, and on 37 of them it has ships on both sides at once.

Same cruise line, same port, different ramp.

What Carnival Cruise Line prints for Port Canaveral, and what the port prints

Carnival Cruise Line publishes two Port Canaveral addresses under the question of how to reach a cruise port terminal: A-Side North Cruise Terminal #6 at 9241 Charles Rowland Drive, and B-Side South Cruise Terminal #3 at 220 Christopher Columbus Drive, both in Cape Canaveral, FL 32920.

Thirteen North American ports sit on that page, from Baltimore to Seattle. Miami gets three lettered terminals and San Francisco two piers, and neither entry says which half of the harbor they occupy. Port Canaveral is the one place where the side is printed.

The port approaches it from the other end. According to the Canaveral Port Authority, whose directions page carries the same sentence three times, once under each airport it serves, drivers take S.R. 528 east directly to Port Canaveral, Exit 54A for A Terminals (CT-5, -6, -8 and -10) or Exit 54B for B Terminals (CT-1 or CT-3). Orlando International Airport is approximately 45 minutes west. Orlando Melbourne International Airport is approximately 25 miles, or 40 minutes, south. Orlando Sanford International Airport is roughly 1 hour northwest, 23 miles down S.R. 417 before the Beachline.

Between them the two issuers give everything except the pairing: one names two berths and no ship, the other an exit per berth and no cruise line. Which digit belongs to which street is laid out in the reference on the seven numbered berths at Port Canaveral and the exit behind each one.

Two issuers, two halves of one answer.

Five Carnival ships, 136 dated calls, and the ramp each one takes

Counted from the master schedule for the September 2026 to February 2027 window, every Carnival row resolves to one of three berths. The four digit clock in the source is written out here as Eastern time.

Three of the five never move: Carnival Mardi Gras holds Cruise Terminal 3 across 26 Saturdays, while Carnival Vista and Carnival Freedom hold Cruise Terminal 6 across 53 rows between them. None of the 136 rows carries the Port of Call marker that sits on 42 rows elsewhere in the document, so each one is a turnaround.

Two ships carry the exceptions. Both earn a paragraph.

Carnival Venezia moves from Cruise Terminal 6 to Cruise Terminal 3 on November 1, 2026

Carnival Venezia opens the window on the A side and finishes it on the B side. Its first two rows are Saturday October 10, 2026, in at 6:00 AM and out at 3:30 PM, and Sunday October 18, 2026, in at 6:00 AM and out at 5:00 PM, both at Cruise Terminal 6 behind Exit 54A. Every row after that is Cruise Terminal 3 behind Exit 54B.

Fifteen of them, all Sundays, run from November 1, 2026 to February 21, 2027, with a 6:00 AM arrival throughout and a 4:00 PM departure on fourteen. Between October 18 and November 1 the ship crosses roughly 1.9 miles of harbor, and the ramp a driver needs flips from 54A to 54B.

Sorting all 563 dated ship rows by hull shows how rare that is. Four ships appear on both sides of the channel, and two of them, AIDAdiva and Norwegian Bliss, are marked Port of Call on every row, so nobody is driving to them. The remaining pair is Carnival Venezia and Carnival Glory. How the port lays out that grid, and how often it reissues the file, is worked through in the reading of the Port Canaveral master cruise schedule, column by column.

A repeat passenger remembers a ramp. The ship does not.

Two Carnival Glory rows that break the Cruise Terminal 3 pattern

Carnival Glory holds Cruise Terminal 3 on 38 of its 40 rows, in at 7:00 AM and out at 3:30 PM with almost no variation. The two rows that differ do so in opposite directions.

Sunday September 20, 2026 puts the ship at Cruise Terminal 6, on the A side, behind Exit 54A, with an empty arrival cell and an empty departure cell. Just 5 of the 563 dated ship rows lack both times, and it is the single Carnival row among them, which is a thin basis for timing a 45 minute drive from Orlando International Airport.

On Saturday January 30, 2027 the same hull appears at Cruise Terminal 1, 9050 Discovery Rd., the one row it ever takes there. Exit 54B still applies, since Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 3 share the B side, so a driver working from memory reaches the right ramp and the wrong street. That date is also the only one in 181 days carrying three Carnival ships: Carnival Freedom at Cruise Terminal 6, Carnival Glory at Cruise Terminal 1, Carnival Mardi Gras at Cruise Terminal 3. Three ships, three addresses, two exits.

The right ramp is not the same thing as the right building.

What a published departure time does to a Carnival checked bag

Checked baggage service at a Carnival pier is available only until 2 hours before the ship’s published departure time, according to Carnival Cruise Line, and anyone arriving later carries their own bags aboard. The Canaveral Port Authority publishes the departure time. Neither issuer does the subtraction.

Done here, it yields two clocks. Carnival Glory and Carnival Freedom leave at 3:30 PM, which closes their bag desk at 1:30 PM. The other three leave at 4:00 PM, putting the deadline at 2:00 PM for Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Vista and Carnival Venezia. The port sets the other end of the window: garages and surface lots do not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers, at $20.00 per day plus tax, card only.

The usable stretch is therefore 3 hours 30 minutes on a Glory or Freedom sailing and 4 hours on the other three. The winner by scenario is clear rather than balanced. For a 3:30 PM ship the earliest appointment on offer wins, because the missing 30 minutes lands on the same side as the drive and the garage queue. For a 4:00 PM ship a midday slot still clears the bag desk. Guests scheduled to reach the terminal before 1:30 PM usually hand bags to a porter, at a customary $1 tip per bag.

Where the calculation stops working: a late appointment on a 3:30 PM sailing, where garage, porter and bag desk compress into one hour. What each cruise line publishes about the garages those cars go into is audited separately in the cruise line by cruise line reading of Port Canaveral parking.

Subtract two hours from the schedule. That is the deadline.

The arrival guides for Cruise Terminal 3 and Cruise Terminal 6 are not the same page

Both Carnival berths have an arrival guide on portcanaveral.com, and read in August 2026 the two pages are built differently. At Cruise Terminal 3 the port offers one combined pickup and drop-off entry alongside parking, and both of its route links point at a single Apple Maps pin, 28.406472 by -80.599610.

Cruise Terminal 6 splits the same job three ways. It carries separate entries for luggage drop off, passenger drop off and parking, each with its own coordinate: 28.41681 by -80.62972, 28.41700 by -80.62883 and 28.41836 by -80.62833. Those three pins span about 720 feet end to end, and the closest two sit roughly 294 feet apart.

Measured from the coordinates the port publishes, those two sets of pins lie about 1.9 miles apart in a straight line, with Cruise Terminal 6 to the north. That matches the port’s own labels, A side north and B side south, and it is the figure neither issuer prints. Both pages repeat one instruction: plan to arrive at the cruise terminal at your assigned boarding time.

One berth gets one pin. The other gets three.

Six things a Carnival boarding pass and the port schedule settle between them

    • The boarding pass is the only document naming the berth for a specific sailing. The port’s cruise lines page lists Carnival Cruise Line with reservations on 1-800-764-7419 and prints no terminal beside it.
    • Exit 54B serves CT-1 or CT-3 and Exit 54A serves CT-5, -6, -8 and -10. Nothing signposted on S.R. 528 names a cruise line, so the decision rests on the digit alone.
    • Online check-in closes at midnight Eastern time the day before sailing, and the arrival appointment is chosen inside it, with a request to arrive promptly within the window selected.
    • Printed Carnival luggage tags have to be attached before reaching the terminal, replacements come from the curbside porter, and a bag still marked TBA gets re-tagged there.
    • Garages open at 10 AM for embarkation, take no cash and cost $20.00 per day plus tax, so a berth confirmed at 7:00 AM buys a wait rather than a space. The port’s ground transportation office answers on (321) 394-3203 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and holds commercial vehicles to 15 minutes in a loading zone.
    • Two addresses cover it: Cruise Terminal 6 at 9241 Charles Rowland Drive and Cruise Terminal 3 at 220 Christopher Columbus Drive, with 58.8% of the line’s calls going to the second. The wider picture of berths, garages and rates behind both is set out in the Port Canaveral reference on terminals, cruise lines and parking.

Where a Carnival arrival at Port Canaveral goes wrong

Driving to last year’s ramp. The Carnival Venezia rows make the case alone: two October 2026 dates at Cruise Terminal 6 behind Exit 54A, then fifteen Sundays at Cruise Terminal 3 behind Exit 54B. Sail in October, rebook for January, and the remembered exit is wrong.

Reading the two published terminals as a choice. A-Side North Cruise Terminal #6 and B-Side South Cruise Terminal #3 describe the whole operation, not the sailing in hand.

Following the Parking and Directions link on the cruise line’s port list to find a price. It lands on the terminal selector instead of the page carrying $20.00 per day plus tax, a gap traced in the audit of what each cruise line publishes about the port’s garages.

Treating an empty time cell as a cancelled call. The Carnival Glory row for September 20, 2026 names a ship and a berth and prints no hours, which is a gap in the grid rather than a missing sailing.

Navigating to the Cruise Terminal 3 pin for a Cruise Terminal 6 departure. The two lie about 1.9 miles apart across water, and the recovery is a return to S.R. 528 rather than a turn inside the port.

How these Carnival terminal assignments were checked

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. No provider paid for placement here, and none can pay to appear. Where a booking link earns Lot and Gate a commission it is marked as sponsored and flagged in this line, and as of September 2026 no affiliate link is live anywhere on this site.

Questions about Carnival sailings and the two Port Canaveral berths

The counts below come from the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise schedule for September 2026 through February 2027, from the port’s directions and arrival guide pages, and from Carnival Cruise Line’s own port list, all read in August 2026.

Which terminal does Carnival use at Port Canaveral?

Two, according to Carnival Cruise Line: A-Side North Cruise Terminal #6 at 9241 Charles Rowland Drive and B-Side South Cruise Terminal #3 at 220 Christopher Columbus Drive. In the master schedule for September 2026 to February 2027, 80 of the 136 dated Carnival calls are B side and 56 are A side.

Which exit off S.R. 528 do I take for a Carnival cruise?

Exit 54B for Cruise Terminal 3, where Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Glory and Carnival Venezia berth from November 2026. Exit 54A for Cruise Terminal 6, worked by Carnival Vista and Carnival Freedom. The Canaveral Port Authority assigns 54A to CT-5, -6, -8 and -10 and 54B to CT-1 or CT-3.

Does Carnival Venezia sail from the same Port Canaveral terminal all season?

No. The master schedule puts Carnival Venezia at Cruise Terminal 6 on October 10 and October 18, 2026, then at Cruise Terminal 3 for fifteen Sundays from November 1, 2026 to February 21, 2027. Arrival stays at 6:00 AM, and the exit changes from 54A to 54B with the berth.

What time does Carnival stop taking checked bags at Port Canaveral?

Checked baggage closes 2 hours before the published departure time, according to Carnival Cruise Line. Applied to the port’s schedule, that is 1:30 PM for Carnival Glory and Carnival Freedom, which leave at 3:30 PM, and 2:00 PM for Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Vista and Carnival Venezia, which leave at 4:00 PM.

Does Carnival ever use Cruise Terminal 1 at Port Canaveral?

Once in the published window. The master schedule puts Carnival Glory at Cruise Terminal 1, 9050 Discovery Rd., on January 30, 2027, the single date with three Carnival ships in port. Cruise Terminal 1 shares Exit 54B with Cruise Terminal 3, so the ramp holds and the street address changes.

How early can I reach the Carnival garage at Port Canaveral?

Garages and surface lots open at 10 AM for embarking passengers, at $20.00 per day plus tax, cards only. Guests are asked to arrive inside the appointment chosen during online check-in, which closes at midnight Eastern time the day before, so a 7:00 AM arrival buys a wait.

The ramp belongs to the sailing, not to the cruise line

Carnival at Port Canaveral looks like one operation with two front doors, and the schedule shows something closer to two operations sharing a phone number. Cruise Terminal 3 runs Saturdays, Sundays, Fridays and Mondays behind Exit 54B; Cruise Terminal 6 runs a separate rota behind Exit 54A, 1.9 miles off by air and further by road. A grid the port reissues without notice picks between them, one date at a time, and Carnival Venezia already changed its answer once inside a single season.

Royal Caribbean at Port Canaveral: the ship picks the exit

Two exits serve Royal Caribbean at Port Canaveral, and the ship picks one

Cruise Terminal 1 is Royal Caribbean’s Port Canaveral berth on 111 of its 139 embarkation rows in the 2026 to 2027 winter schedule, behind Exit 54B. The other 28 load at Cruise Terminal 5 or 6, behind Exit 54A. A Sunday sailing is always 54B, a Wednesday one 78% 54A. Friday splits 24 rows to 11.

Those counts come from a single document. Ship to berth assignments live in one place, the master cruise schedule the Canaveral Port Authority publishes as a PDF stamped 27 August 2026 inside the file. That edition holds 1,086 rows across 181 dates to 28 February 2027.

Geography turns the split into a driving decision. The B side berth stands at 9050 Discovery Road on the south shore of the channel; berths 5 and 6 stand at 9245 and 9241 Charles M Rowland Dr on the north. S.R. 528 offers the two ramps once.

The brand is one. The road is two.

What Royal Caribbean prints for Port Canaveral, and the number it leaves out

Three Port Canaveral addresses appear in one Royal Caribbean FAQ answer, read in August 2026: Cruise Terminal #1 at 9050 Discovery Road, Cruise Terminal #5 at 9245 and Cruise Terminal #6 at 9241 Charles M Rowland Dr, in Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920.

Missing from that answer is a highway exit. It closes on an instruction instead: check your cruise documents to see which Terminal your ship departs from, then follow the signage.

The port’s own directions page inverts the omission. It prints the ramp three times, once under each airport, in one sentence: Exit 54A for A Terminals (CT-5, -6, -8 and -10) or Exit 54B for B Terminals (CT-1 or CT-3). No cruise line is named anywhere on it.

Joining the halves takes a third document. All seven berth addresses sit in the reference on how Port Canaveral numbers its cruise terminals and which ramp each takes, while the ship to berth column lives only in the schedule PDF.

Two issuers, two halves of one answer.

Four digit values belong to the vessel, so 630 reads as 6:30 am and 1600 as 4:00 pm. The two A side ships print 700 on all 28 rows, later than any Cruise Terminal 1 ship. How the grid is built is taken apart in the guide to reading the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise schedule column by column.

The sailing weekday that decides Exit 54A or Exit 54B

Weekday predicts the ramp better than the brand does. Two weekdays in the September 2026 to February 2027 edition carry no Exit 54A Royal Caribbean sailing, and one leans the other way.

Sailing weekdayEmbarkation rowsBehind Exit 54BBehind Exit 54AShip producing the A side rows

    Wednesday9 rows2, 22%7, 78%Explorer of the Seas

Sunday wins outright for anyone booking a hotel by exit: all 26 Sunday rows belong to Star of the Seas at Cruise Terminal 1, so 54B stops being a probability. Wednesday flips the answer, 7 of 9 rows at Cruise Terminal 5.

Friday is where weekday stops working, at 35 rows split 24 to 11. Deployments change between editions, and the boarding document assigns the berth.

The 18 dates two Royal Caribbean ships load on opposite sides of the channel

Eighteen dates in the September 2026 to February 2027 edition put one Royal Caribbean ship at Cruise Terminal 1 and a second at berth 5 or 6 the same morning. Eleven are Fridays, four Mondays, two Saturdays and one a Thursday.

    Eight sit inside the Adventure of the Seas run: 4, 18 and 26 September, 2, 16, 24 and 30 October and 5 November 2026. Ten belong to Explorer of the Seas: 13 and 27 November, 11 and 21 December 2026, then 4, 18 and 22 January, 5, 15 and 19 February 2027.

Consequences change on those mornings. A wrong ramp reaches a Royal Caribbean vessel, gangway and crew belonging to a different sailing, rather than an empty berth that announces the error.

Distance is what the recovery costs. Map destinations the Canaveral Port Authority links from its arrival guides place Cruise Terminal 1 at 28.40589, -80.61245 and Cruise Terminal 5 at 28.41793, -80.62785, 1.25 miles apart with the channel in between, against 219 feet between the berth 5 and 6 parking points.

Two Royal Caribbean gates. One is not yours.

Cruise Terminal 6 drops off the Royal Caribbean list after 24 October 2026

The A side berth is not fixed for the season. Adventure of the Seas takes Cruise Terminal 6 on 4, 12, 18 and 26 September and 2, 16 and 24 October 2026, then Cruise Terminal 5 on 10 and 30 October and 5 November 2026, so 7 of 10 rows sit at one berth.

Nothing makes 10 October a boundary. The ship moves for that Saturday, returns for two sailings, then leaves for good. After 24 October 2026 no Royal Caribbean row carries Cruise Terminal 6, while Carnival Cruise Line and Princess Cruises keep it busy.

Explorer of the Seas replaces Adventure of the Seas after a gap of eight days, sailing 13 November 2026 to 24 February 2027 with Cruise Terminal 5 on all 18 rows, 100% at the same gangway.

A berth belongs to a season, not to a brand.

What the Royal Caribbean arrival window controls and what the port’s 10 AM gate controls

Two clocks run on embarkation day and neither issuer owns both. One belongs to the cruise line: guests should arrive within the arrival time slot selected during Royal App check-in, early arrivals cannot begin boarding, and check-in is encouraged at least 3 days ahead.

Skip the app and the deadline hardens. Check-in not completed in advance must be finalized at the pier at least two hours prior to the published sailing time, and every guest onboard no later than 90 minutes prior to port operations closing.

The other clock belongs to the Canaveral Port Authority: garages and surface lots do not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers, at $20.00 per day plus tax, cashless. Turning up at 9:00 am against a 10 AM gate buys a wait. What each cruise line publishes about that rate is audited in the comparison of parking prices the Port Canaveral cruise lines print.

A gap sits between the clocks. The 90 minute deadline is anchored to port operations closing, according to Royal Caribbean, and no closing hour appears in the port pages read in August 2026. The schedule prints a vessel departure instead, 1600 for Utopia, Adventure and Explorer of the Seas, 1630 for Harmony and Star.

Those are sailing times, not gate times.

A Tuesday Royal Caribbean row at Port Canaveral is usually a call, not a departure

Twenty of Royal Caribbean’s 159 rows, 13%, carry the words Port of Call in the last column, and every one is a Tuesday. Oasis of the Seas fills 9 through 27 October 2026 and Odyssey of the Seas the remaining 11 from 10 November 2026.

Times separate the two kinds of row. A call prints 1300 in and 2000 out, so 1:00 pm alongside and 8:00 pm away, against the 600 to 700 arrivals on embarkation rows. A hull berthing after lunch is not loading a seven night cruise.

Three calls move to Cruise Terminal 3: 15 September, 13 October and 10 November 2026. Those are the only Tuesdays on which Harmony of the Seas embarks at Cruise Terminal 1, so the visiting ship takes the other B side berth. The displacement is exact, three for three.

Both B side berths sit behind the same ramp, so every Royal Caribbean row printed on a Tuesday is an Exit 54B arrival.

Searching a calendar for a ship name finds the hull. The last column gives the reason.

Details that fix the Royal Caribbean exit before embarkation morning

Every item below comes from the Canaveral Port Authority or Royal Caribbean pages read in August 2026.

    • The boarding document is the only issuer naming a berth for one sailing. The Royal Caribbean FAQ lists three terminals and points back to the cruise documents.
    • The digit answers the ramp question by itself. Berths 1 and 3 are Exit 54B; berths 5, 6, 8 and 10 are Exit 54A, in the Canaveral Port Authority’s own wording.
    • Editions matter more than dates. The schedule file is stamped 27 August 2026 and is replaced at the same address without a version note.
    • A Wednesday sailing deserves the check a Sunday one does not, at 7 of 9 rows for Cruise Terminal 5 against 0 of 26 Sunday rows.
    • Price does not follow the exit: the Canaveral Port Authority charges $20.00 per day plus tax at every terminal, so eight billed days reach $160.00 before tax.
    • Hotel choice is where the exit turns into money, and rates and garages sit in the single Port Canaveral reference for terminals, cruise lines and parking.

How a Royal Caribbean drive to Port Canaveral loses its exit

Four failures repeat, each with a document behind it.

Treating Cruise Terminal 1 as a property of the brand. Royal Caribbean loads 28 of its 139 rows, 20%, at berth 5 or berth 6 across the channel.

Reading a cruise line address list as a route. The Royal Caribbean FAQ prints three terminals and no exit number, so a driver who stops there holds an address and no ramp.

Trusting a berth learned on a previous sailing. Cruise Terminal 6 carries Royal Caribbean on 7 dates to 24 October 2026 and none after it.

Arriving before the garage opens. Parking does not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers, and guests who arrive early will not be able to begin boarding, according to Royal Caribbean.

How these Royal Caribbean berth figures were checked

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. No provider paid for placement here, and none can pay to appear. Where a booking link earns Lot and Gate a commission it is marked as sponsored and flagged in this line, and as of September 2026 no affiliate link is live anywhere on this site.

What Royal Caribbean passengers ask about the two Port Canaveral sides

Answers below come from the Canaveral Port Authority and cruise line pages read in August 2026.

Which terminal does Royal Caribbean use at Port Canaveral?

Three of them: Cruise Terminal 1 at 9050 Discovery Road, Cruise Terminal 5 at 9245 and Cruise Terminal 6 at 9241 Charles M Rowland Dr. The 2026 to 2027 master cruise schedule puts 111 of the 139 embarkation rows at Cruise Terminal 1, behind Exit 54B.

Is Royal Caribbean at Port Canaveral Exit 54A or Exit 54B?

Both, depending on the ship. The Canaveral Port Authority routes Cruise Terminal 1 through Exit 54B and Cruise Terminals 5 and 6 through Exit 54A. Utopia, Harmony and Star of the Seas take 54B; Adventure and Explorer take 54A, on 28 of 139 rows.

Which Royal Caribbean ships sail from Cruise Terminal 5 and Cruise Terminal 6?

Adventure of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas. The master schedule stamped 27 August 2026 gives Adventure 7 rows at Cruise Terminal 6 and 3 at Cruise Terminal 5 through 5 November 2026, then Explorer 18 rows at Cruise Terminal 5 from 13 November 2026.

Why does the Royal Caribbean website list three Port Canaveral terminals?

Because its ships use all three. The FAQ answer read in August 2026 prints Cruise Terminal #1, #5 and #6 with addresses, then tells guests to check their cruise documents for the terminal their ship departs from. No exit number appears there.

What time should you arrive for a Royal Caribbean sailing from Port Canaveral?

Within the arrival slot picked during Royal App check-in, which the line asks guests to complete at least 3 days ahead. Early arrivals cannot begin boarding, and port garages do not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers, so a 9:00 am arrival buys a wait.

Does a Royal Caribbean ship on the Port Canaveral calendar mean it sails that day?

Not always. Twenty rows in the September 2026 to February 2027 edition are flagged Port of Call, all on Tuesdays, all printing 1300 in and 2000 out, which reads as 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Oasis of the Seas holds 9 and Odyssey of the Seas 11.

The exit belongs to the ship, not to the cruise line

Booking a cruise line and booking a route are separate acts at Port Canaveral. A Utopia of the Seas pass and an Explorer of the Seas pass buy the same brand, cover the same 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport, and part company at a ramp no cruise line document names. The pass encodes a digit, and the digit works as a compass bearing.

Disney at Port Canaveral: Cruise Terminal 8 and its 16 exceptions

Where Disney Cruise Line berths at Port Canaveral, and the 16 dates it does not

Disney Cruise Line uses Cruise Terminal 8 at Port Canaveral on 101 of 117 scheduled dates from 1 September 2026 to 28 February 2027, and Cruise Terminal 10 on 16. Disney Fantasy and Disney Treasure never move. Disney Wish sails from Cruise Terminal 8 on 35 dates and Cruise Terminal 10 on 16.

Cruise Terminal 8 stands at 9155 Charles Rowland Dr. and Cruise Terminal 10 at 9005, about 1,200 feet apart on the same street. Both belong to the north side of the channel, the side the Canaveral Port Authority calls A, and both are reached from Exit 54A off S.R. 528. Guessing wrong strands nobody across the water.

Those numbers come from one document. Terminal assignments at Port Canaveral live in the master cruise schedule, a PDF the port reissues without notice, and the copy read here is stamped 27 August 2026. Sixteen dates in it break the rule that Disney means Terminal 8, and 13 fall on a Friday.

How Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 sit against the same S.R. 528 exit

Exit 54A serves the four berths the Canaveral Port Authority lists as its A group, CT-5, CT-6, CT-8 and CT-10, while Exit 54B serves the B group, CT-1 and CT-3. Both Disney berths sit on the A list, so the highway decision is the same either way. Orlando International Airport lies approximately 45 minutes west, according to the Canaveral Port Authority.

Precision past the exit is where the port stops using street numbers. Its arrival guides for Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 publish no address: each links two Apple Maps destinations given as coordinates, one for drop-off and one for parking. The drop-off point for Cruise Terminal 8 is 28.41351, -80.63065, and for Cruise Terminal 10 it is 28.41083, -80.62845. Between them the gap measures 0.23 miles, roughly 1,200 feet, while the parking destinations sit 0.19 miles apart, or 989 feet.

Wording will not separate the pages either. The Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 guides run the same four instructions in the same order and name no cruise line, so what separates them is the pair of coordinates behind the map links. Addresses, exits and the $20.00 per day plus tax rate for all seven berths sit in the Port Canaveral guide that maps every terminal to its exit and its parking rate.

The exit is shared. The gate is not.

Every Disney sailing the Port Canaveral master schedule lists this season

Three Disney ships appear in the master cruise schedule for September 2026 to February 2027, on 117 of the 605 rows that name a vessel, or 19% of the filled grid. Two of the three never change berth. The table below reads the edition stamped 27 August 2026.

Those four digit values belong to the vessel, not the passenger. A 600 is the ship alongside at 6:00 am, a 1645 is 4:45 pm and a 1600 is 4:00 pm, while Disney Treasure keeps a 1700 departure, 5:00 pm, on all 26 rows. The one non Disney call, Mein Schiff 1 at 830 and 1830, reads as 8:30 am and 6:30 pm. Cruise Terminal 8 carries a named ship on 102 of its 181 rows and stands empty on 79.

The 16 dates that move Disney Wish over to Cruise Terminal 10

One Disney ship in this edition has two berths. The Canaveral Port Authority prints Cruise Terminal 10 for Disney Wish on 16 dates, 31% of its 51 rows, and Cruise Terminal 8 on the other 35, or 69%. Each date appears below beside what the edition shows at Cruise Terminal 8.

Twelve of the 16 share one fact. Disney Fantasy holds Cruise Terminal 8 that day, and those 12 dates are every date in the six month window on which two Disney ships load at Port Canaveral at once. The Fantasy sails 12 Fridays in this edition, and all 12 are Cruise Terminal 10 dates for the Wish.

The remaining four show no ship at Cruise Terminal 8. One of them, 7 September 2026, prints 600 and 1645 in the Cruise Terminal 8 time cells with the vessel name missing, the same pair carried by every September Disney Fantasy row. The blank reads as a defect, not as a berth report.

Reading 1,086 rows to work out when the Disney Wish berth moves

Weekday is the stable half of the Disney Wish pattern and berth is the unstable half. Across 51 rows the ship sails 25 Mondays, 24 Fridays and 2 Thursdays.

Disney Wish sailing dayRows in this editionRows at Cruise Terminal 8Rows at Cruise Terminal 10What it means for a driver
    Monday25 rows24 rows1 row, 7 September 202696% at Cruise Terminal 8
    Friday24 rows11 rows13 rows54% at Cruise Terminal 10, near a coin toss
    Thursday2 rows0 rows2 rows, 24 and 31 December 2026Cruise Terminal 10 on both

Fridays alternate, and they do it cleanly. From 11 September 2026 the two berths swap week by week without a single exception through 26 February 2027, and the run survives a three week gap over the holidays, since no Disney Wish sails on 25 December 2026 or 1 January 2027. Only the opening pair breaks it: 4 and 11 September 2026 are consecutive Cruise Terminal 10 Fridays.

So the answer splits by weekday, and each half has a different winner. A Monday sailing can be planned against Cruise Terminal 8, wrong once in 25 rows, for a structural reason: the Fantasy sails no Mondays in this edition. A Friday sailing cannot, since 13 of 24 Fridays go to Cruise Terminal 10, and the boarding document wins wherever the two disagree, because the line assigns the berth and the port only reports it.

Monday is a rule. Friday is a toss.

What Disney Cruise Line publishes about Cruise Terminal 8, read by a plain browser

Nothing legible about the Port Canaveral berth reaches a reader without a booking. A request to the Disney Cruise Line Port Canaveral page in August 2026 returned a 302 redirect to a Spanish language address, then 740,697 bytes of markup with an empty title tag and no readable text. The strings terminal, 9155 and Charles Rowland appear nowhere in that file.

Two issuers are left, and neither prints a passenger arrival hour: the Canaveral Port Authority publishes the vessel’s arrival, 600 on all 117 Disney rows, and points passengers to their assigned boarding time. Garages open at 10 AM for embarkation, four hours after the ship is alongside, so pulling in at 9:00 am buys a wait rather than a space.

One instruction from the line survives automated reading, and it covers transport rather than timing: airport transfers are booked through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or My Reservations, with no price on the public pages. Port Canaveral lists the line on 1-800-951-3532 and prints no terminal beside it, the same treatment given to the other seven names there. The comparison of what each cruise line publishes about parking at the port tracks that gap across six issuers.

An unreadable page is still an answer. The answer is no.

Checks that settle the Disney berth before embarkation morning

Every item below comes from the Canaveral Port Authority or the master schedule stamped 27 August 2026.

    • The boarding document is the only issuer naming a berth for a given date. Both port arrival guides carry four instructions and name no cruise line.
    • Coordinates travel better than terminal numbers. Apple Maps destinations replace street addresses on the port pages: 28.41351, -80.63065 for Cruise Terminal 8 and 28.41083, -80.62845 for Cruise Terminal 10.
    • Editions matter more than dates. The file read here is stamped 27 August 2026 and runs 17 pages across 181 dates, and the column by column reading of the Port Canaveral master schedule separates one edition from the next.
    • A Friday sailing deserves a second look that a Monday one does not. Thirteen of 24 Friday rows go to Cruise Terminal 10, against 1 of 25 Monday rows.
    • Price does not move with the berth, since the Canaveral Port Authority charges $20.00 per day plus tax at every terminal. Eight billed days reach $160.00 before tax whichever garage takes the car, and the arithmetic behind eight billed days on a seven night sailing works through the count.
    • A hired car at the curb works against a clock and a tariff. Loading zones allow 15 minutes unless a vehicle is actively loading, and commercial permits are billed per 60 minutes at $5.00 up to 23 feet and $10.00 up to 30 feet.

Where a Disney embarkation at Port Canaveral comes apart

Five failures repeat on Disney sailings, each with a document behind it.

Treating Cruise Terminal 8 as a property of the brand. The Wish is printed at Cruise Terminal 10 on 16 dates, 31% of its 51 rows.

Working from a printout. Port Canaveral replaces the schedule at the same address under the same filename, and the 27 August 2026 stamp inside the file is the only version marker.

Reading 600 as a passenger instruction. The port prints the vessel’s arrival, the boarding window belongs to the line, and garages do not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers.

Using an arrival guide to identify a terminal. The Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 pages are word for word identical apart from the number in the heading, so opening the wrong one produces no warning.

Overestimating the cost of the mistake. Both berths sit off Exit 54A, both stand on Charles Rowland Drive, both charge $20.00 per day plus tax, and their drop-off points are 0.23 miles apart. The wrong berth costs a loop with the luggage still loaded, not a drive around the channel.

How the Disney terminal dates in this guide were verified

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. No provider paid for placement here, and none can pay to appear. Where a booking link earns Lot and Gate a commission it is marked as sponsored and flagged in this line, and as of September 2026 no affiliate link is live anywhere on this site.

Questions Disney passengers ask about Port Canaveral terminals

The answers below come from the Canaveral Port Authority, from its master cruise schedule for September 2026 to February 2027, and from what the line served a plain browser in August 2026.

Which terminal does Disney use at Port Canaveral?

Disney Cruise Line loads at Cruise Terminal 8, 9155 Charles Rowland Dr., on 101 of its 117 dates in the port master schedule for September 2026 to February 2027. Disney Wish is the exception, printed at Cruise Terminal 10 on 16 dates. Boarding documents override the schedule.

On which dates does Disney Wish sail from Cruise Terminal 10?

    The August 2026 edition of the Port Canaveral master schedule lists 16 dates: 4, 7, 11 and 25 September, 9 and 23 October, 6 and 20 November, 4, 18, 24 and 31 December 2026, then 15 and 29 January, 12 and 26 February 2027.

Are Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 far apart at Port Canaveral?

No. Both are A side terminals reached from Exit 54A off S.R. 528, and both stand on Charles Rowland Drive. The passenger drop-off points the Canaveral Port Authority links in its arrival guides are 0.23 miles apart, about 1,200 feet. The parking destinations sit 989 feet apart.

What time should a Disney passenger arrive at Port Canaveral?

Neither issuer publishes a public hour. The Canaveral Port Authority tells passengers to plan to arrive at the cruise terminal at their assigned boarding time, and its garages open at 10 AM for embarkation. The 600 printed on all 117 Disney rows is the ship’s arrival, not yours.

Why does Disney Wish change terminal at Port Canaveral?

The schedule does not say, but the pattern is legible. On 12 of the 16 Cruise Terminal 10 dates, Disney Fantasy holds Cruise Terminal 8, and those 12 are every date in the window with two Disney ships in port. The other four show Cruise Terminal 8 empty.

Does Disney Cruise Line publish its Port Canaveral terminal number online?

Not to a plain reader. A request to the Disney Cruise Line Port Canaveral page in August 2026 redirected to a Spanish language address and returned 740,697 bytes with an empty title and no readable text. The strings terminal, 9155 and Charles Rowland appear nowhere in it.

A berth is an assignment, not an address

Among the lines at Port Canaveral, Disney runs the steadiest weekday pattern and one of the least steady berths. The Treasure has held one Saturday and one terminal across 26 sailings, while the Wish has moved berth 16 times in six months. That digit on the boarding document describes one date, not where the line docks. The week before sailing, it is worth rereading.

Port Canaveral cruise terminals: seven numbers, two exits

The seven numbers Port Canaveral prints, and the three it never uses

    Port Canaveral runs seven cruise terminals numbered 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10, and the Canaveral Port Authority publishes no Terminal 4, 7 or 9. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are the B side, reached from Exit 54B off S.R. 528. Terminals 5, 6, 8 and 10 are the A side, Exit 54A.

Read in August 2026, the port’s terminal guide gives those seven addresses and nothing else a driver can act on. No cruise line beside a number, no garage, no ramp.

Anyone hunting for Terminal 4 or Terminal 7 finds no page, because those digits were never given to a cruise berth. Anyone reading Terminal 10 as the far end of the harbor finds it at 9005 Charles Rowland Dr., the lowest street number on that road. A Terminal 1 boarding pass followed by the A side signs ends across the channel from the ship.

The number is a routing code. Not a ranking, and not a distance.

Why the terminal number and not the cruise line picks the exit off S.R. 528

Every set of driving directions the Canaveral Port Authority publishes closes on one sentence, and it names terminals rather than ships: take S.R. 528 east directly to Port Canaveral, Exit 54A for A Terminals (CT-5, -6, -8 and -10) or Exit 54B for B Terminals (CT-1 or CT-3).

That sentence runs three times on a single page, once under each airport. Orlando International Airport, approximately 45 minutes west, feeds S.R. 528 East from its north exit. Orlando Melbourne International Airport, approximately 25 miles and 40 minutes south, feeds U.S. Highway 1 north for about 20 minutes and then about 4 miles past S.R. 520 in Cocoa. Orlando Sanford International Airport, approximately 1 hour northwest, sends drivers 23 miles down the Central Florida Greenway first.

Recovery is the part nobody publishes: none of the pages read in August 2026 says what to do after the wrong ramp. Which line and which ship the port assigns to each berth is answered in the reference on how Port Canaveral numbers its seven terminals and which cruise line sails from each one.

Two exits, seven numbers, one decision.

What a Port Canaveral terminal arrival guide actually says

Each terminal has its own arrival guide on portcanaveral.com, and the four read in August 2026, for Cruise Terminal 1, 2, 8 and 10, carry the same four sentences. Plan to arrive at the cruise terminal at your assigned boarding time. Follow the route for passenger pickup and drop-off. Follow the route for secure cruise terminal parking. Contact your cruise line directly with all itinerary questions.

None of those pages names a berth address, a ramp, a garage or a cruise line. The one street address printed on them is 445 Challenger Road, Suite 300, the Canaveral Port Authority’s own office on (321) 783-7831. Routing is handed off twice, to an Apple Maps link and to a View, Download or Print Map option.

The index that lists all seven berths carries the timing rule instead: garages and surface lots do not open before 10 AM for embarking passengers. What a stay in one of them costs is worked out in the billed days inside a Port Canaveral parking charge.

    Seven pages, one paragraph, repeated.

Address, side and exit for all seven Port Canaveral cruise terminals

Below is the terminal guide read against the terminal map, verified August 2026, with the street numbers put in order. All seven berths are in Cape Canaveral, FL 32920.

Cruise terminalAddress published by the Canaveral Port AuthoritySide and exitStreet position and next number on the list
Cruise Terminal 19050 Discovery Rd.B side, Exit 54BSole berth on Discovery Rd.; next number is 2

Cruise Terminal 109005 Charles Rowland Dr.A side, Exit 54ALowest of four on Charles Rowland Dr.; none higher

Six steps separate the seven numbers, and three skip a digit: 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 8 to 10. Along Charles Rowland Dr. the street numbers climb 9005, 9155, 9241, 9245, while the berths run 10, 8, 6, 5. Counting up the road counts down the terminals.

    Port Canaveral’s B side berths, numbered 1, 2 and 3

Cruise Terminal 1 stands at 9050 Discovery Rd., the only berth the Canaveral Port Authority addresses on that street, behind Exit 54B. Royal Caribbean publishes the same number as Terminal #1 and sends guests to their cruise documents for the berth that applies. One reading of the port’s parking page returned 9500; the guide, the map and the cruise line all give 9050.

The odd entry is Terminal 2, at 180 Christopher Columbus Dr. It carries an address, a printable map and an arrival guide worded like the other six, and the master schedule published for September 2026 to February 2027 assigns it no sailing.

Number 3 sits at 220 Christopher Columbus Dr., 40 street numbers north of its neighbor, behind the same ramp. Carnival Cruise Line is the one issuer that prints the side letter beside the digit, listing B-Side South Cruise Terminal #3 and A-Side North Cruise Terminal #6.

One road, two berths, one of them idle.

    Port Canaveral’s A side berths, numbered 5, 6, 8 and 10

Terminal 5 occupies 9245 Charles Rowland Dr., the highest street number of the four A side berths. Royal Caribbean lists it as Terminal #5, 9245 Charles M Rowland Dr, adding a middle initial the Canaveral Port Authority leaves out.

Four street numbers away, at 9241, Terminal 6 appears in both the Royal Caribbean and the Carnival Cruise Line address lists, so a document naming Terminal #6 can come from either company. At 9155, 86 numbers down the same road, Terminal 8 has an arrival guide word for word identical to the one published for Cruise Terminal 1.

Number 10 closes the list at 9005 Charles Rowland Dr. MSC Cruises tells drivers to follow the signs to terminal 10 and take exit 54A, while Norwegian Cruise Line routes to the A-Side North Terminal without printing a number, measuring its own approach as about 10 miles of S.R. 528 East from U.S. Highway 1. Which ship stands at these berths in a given week is taken apart in the reading of the master cruise schedule the port reissues without notice.

Four berths, one street, numbers running backwards.

Details that decide which Port Canaveral gate you reach

    • The boarding document is the only issuer that names a berth for a specific sailing. The port’s cruise lines page lists eight operators with reservation numbers, among them Disney Cruise Line on 1-800-951-3532, and prints no terminal beside any of them.
    • No two issuers agree on the distance and all of them agree on the ramp. MSC Cruises puts Orlando International Airport approximately 46 miles out, in a sentence that reaches us only as a search engine snippet because its own pages refused an automated read, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority calls it a 42 mile route, and Norwegian Cruise Line measures 12 miles from Exit 205 on I-95.
    • Royal Caribbean’s driving directions FAQ names three berths, #1 at 9050 Discovery Road, #5 at 9245 and #6 at 9241 Charles M Rowland Dr, and requires everyone aboard no later than 90 minutes before port operations close.
    • Garages and surface lots stay shut before 10 AM for embarking passengers, so a berth confirmed at 7 AM buys a wait. The Ground Transportation office answers on (321) 394-3203 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
    • Working the terminal curb takes a permit. A commercial operator needs one from the Canaveral Port Authority, starting at a non-refundable $50 application fee and billed in 60 minute blocks, and no commercial vehicle may sit in a loading zone longer than 15 minutes unless it is actively loading.
    • No numbered berth has a published bus stop. Space Coast Area Transit runs route 9 through Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach with designated stops only, none of them named Port Canaveral or a cruise terminal, and the closest by name is George King Blvd. Its printed sheet, dated 2019, sets a full one ride fare at $1.50 and a 10 ride pass at $12.00, with buses every 30 minutes from 6:00 and hourly after that until 11:13 pm.
    • All seven berths share the Cape Canaveral, FL 32920 postal code, which is why a hotel search returns properties that look adjacent to one. What crosses that gap is set out in the guide to hotels near the Port Canaveral cruise terminals and the transfers that reach them.

Where a Port Canaveral terminal number gets misread

Following the A side signs with a Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 booking. The Canaveral Port Authority routes CT-1 and CT-3 through Exit 54B and the other four through Exit 54A, and the highway offers that choice once.

Reading Terminal 10 as the far end of the port. Its address, 9005 Charles Rowland Dr., is the lowest of the four A side street numbers, below the 9155 of Terminal 8.

Treating 9050 as a Terminal 10 address. Those numbers sit 45 apart on different roads behind different ramps: 9050 Discovery Rd. is Terminal 1 on the B side, 9005 Charles Rowland Dr. is Terminal 10 on the A side.

Searching for Cruise Terminal 4, 7 or 9. Neither the terminal guide nor the terminal map lists them, so the traveler assumes the port’s own site is incomplete.

Expecting a berth’s arrival guide to give the ramp. Across the four guides read in August 2026 those pages carry four sentences and no exit number, while the sentence naming Exit 54A and Exit 54B sits on the directions page.

How these Port Canaveral terminal details were checked

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. No provider paid for placement here, and none can pay to appear. Where a booking link earns Lot and Gate a commission it is marked as sponsored and flagged in this line, and as of September 2026 no affiliate link is live anywhere on this site.

Questions about the numbered terminals at Port Canaveral

All of the answers below come from the port’s terminal guide, terminal map and master cruise schedule, and from the cruise lines named in each one, read in August 2026.

Which cruise terminal numbers does Port Canaveral actually use?

Port Canaveral uses seven numbered cruise terminals: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10. The Canaveral Port Authority prints those seven on its terminal guide and terminal map, with addresses in Cape Canaveral, FL 32920. Numbers 1, 2 and 3 are the B side, verified August 2026.

Is there a Cruise Terminal 4, 7 or 9 at Port Canaveral?

No cruise terminal numbered 4, 7 or 9 appears on the Canaveral Port Authority’s terminal guide or terminal map, both read in August 2026. The published list runs 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10, so three of the six steps between consecutive numbers skip a digit.

What are the street addresses of the Port Canaveral cruise terminals?

Berth 1 is at 9050 Discovery Rd., berth 2 at 180 Christopher Columbus Dr., berth 3 at 220 Christopher Columbus Dr., and berths 5, 6, 8 and 10 at 9245, 9241, 9155 and 9005 Charles Rowland Dr., all in Cape Canaveral, FL 32920, verified August 2026.

Does Cruise Terminal 2 at Port Canaveral handle cruises?

Number 2, at 180 Christopher Columbus Dr., has an address, a printable map and an arrival guide worded like the other six. The master cruise schedule the Canaveral Port Authority published for September 2026 to February 2027 assigns it no sailing, so the page exists without a ship.

What does a Port Canaveral cruise terminal arrival guide tell you?

Each arrival guide carries four sentences: plan to arrive at the cruise terminal at your assigned boarding time, follow the route for passenger pickup and drop-off, follow the route for secure cruise terminal parking, and contact your cruise line directly with all itinerary questions. No exit number appears, verified August 2026.

Is Cruise Terminal 10 farther from the highway than Cruise Terminal 1?

Number 10 stands at 9005 Charles Rowland Dr. on the A side, reached from Exit 54A, while number 1 stands at 9050 Discovery Rd. on the B side, reached from Exit 54B. The higher digit sits across the channel rather than farther along one road, verified August 2026.

Seven numbers, two exits and no Terminal 4

A terminal number at Port Canaveral looks like a position in a sequence and behaves like a fork in a road. Berths 3 and 5 are consecutive on the port’s list and sit on opposite sides of the channel, behind different ramps, while berths 5 and 6 are four street numbers apart. The gaps at 4, 7 and 9 mean nothing to a passenger; what the digit carries is a ramp, chosen once, near the end of a 45 minute drive, off a document printed weeks earlier.

Cruises from Port Canaveral in 2026: seven lines and 22 ships

Which cruise lines sail from Port Canaveral in the 2026 to 2027 season

Seven cruise lines board passengers at Port Canaveral in the September 2026 to February 2027 master schedule: Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Disney, Norwegian, MSC, Princess and Celebrity. They run 22 ships and 559 scheduled departures over 181 dates, 23 in a median week, 14 in the quietest week and 27 in the busiest.

The Canaveral Port Authority master cruise schedule covers 181 dates, seven cruise lines and 22 ships between 1 September 2026 and 28 February 2027. Every count below comes from the edition of that file stamped 27 August 2026, read row by row.

Choosing a sailing date is not the same problem as choosing a cruise. The line you want may not board on the weekday you can travel. The port reissues that document without notice, so what follows is the shape of one edition.

The seven cruise lines that board passengers, ship by ship

Port Canaveral describes itself as homeport to seven major cruise lines, and the schedule agrees: no eighth operator holds a departure row. Royal Caribbean and Carnival take almost half of what the Canaveral Port Authority publishes, at 139 and 136 departures, while Celebrity Cruises runs 18.

Celebrity CruisesCelebrity Apex18 departures, 3% of the fileSaturday, all 18 departuresCT5 on all 18
Victory Casino CruisesNone named in the schedule0 departures, 0% of the filen/an/a

That last row resolves a contradiction inside the port’s own website. Its cruise lines page lists eight operators with customer service numbers, Victory Casino Cruises among them on 1-800-468-4286, while the paragraph above that list names seven as homeport lines. The schedule settles which number to plan with.

Fleet depth is what separates the two leaders from the rest. Royal Caribbean spreads 139 departures over five ships and three berths, so no single Royal Caribbean booking predicts a terminal. Celebrity Cruises has one ship, one weekday and one berth, which makes it the most predictable line at Port Canaveral and the least flexible.

How many cruises leave Port Canaveral in a normal week

Across the 25 complete Monday to Sunday weeks in the file, and according to the Canaveral Port Authority schedule itself, Port Canaveral carries a median of 23 departures a week. The favorable case is 27, in the week of 15 February 2027. The unfavorable case is 14, which happens twice, in the weeks of 21 September and 19 October 2026.

Those extremes are not random. Weekly volume steps up once, and it steps up late. The eight full weeks from 7 September to 1 November 2026 average 17.5 departures. The seventeen weeks from 2 November 2026 to 28 February 2027 average 23.8, a rise of 36% that holds until the file ends.

Monthly totals show the same break. September 2026 carries 69 departures over 30 days, or 2.3 a day, October 81 over 31 days, and November jumps to 104 over 30 days, or 3.5 a day. It holds above three a day from there without climbing straight: December 99 over 31 days is 3.2, January 106 over 31 is 3.4, and February 100, which on 28 days is 3.6 a day and the densest month in the window. How that grid is assembled and reissued is a separate question, answered in the column by column reading of the Port Canaveral master cruise schedule, and the berth numbers it prints map to addresses and highway exits in the reference guide to the seven Port Canaveral cruise terminals.

Averages hide the blank days. Twenty nine of the 181 dates, or 16% of the window, carry no embarkation from any line, and 28 dates carry the daily maximum of six. A cruise port that calls itself the second busiest in the world is still shut for boarding one day in six.

Which weekday each Port Canaveral cruise line boards

Weekday decides which lines are even available. Sunday and Saturday carry 135 and 133 departures, Friday 108 and Monday 98, so 85% of the file sits in a four day block. Midweek is thin, and Tuesday is close to shut.

Sunday wins on choice, with six of the seven lines boarding on one date. For anyone set on Celebrity Apex, Saturday is not the better day, it is the only day, at Cruise Terminal 5 from 31 October 2026 onward.

Tuesday deserves its own warning. Five of the six Tuesday departures are Harmony of the Seas at Cruise Terminal 1, roughly one a month, and the sixth is Norwegian Getaway on 22 December 2026. What fills Tuesdays instead is visiting traffic, with Odyssey of the Seas holding 11 of the 42 rows the port flags as Port of Call.

When ships enter and leave the Port Canaveral season

Thirteen ships work Port Canaveral from the opening week of September 2026. Nine more arrive between 10 October and 20 November 2026, three drop out between 18 October and 12 November, and the roster then holds at 19 ships until the file closes on 28 February 2027.

Norwegian Cruise Line is the clearest case of a line that is barely present early. Norwegian Prima carries every Norwegian departure in September 2026, 4 of them, and 4 of the 5 in October, then leaves on 12 November 2026 with Getaway, Escape and Epic already arriving. Norwegian goes from 4 departures in September to 15 in November, and holds 14 or 15 a month through February 2027.

Princess Cruises does the same trade in reverse order. Caribbean Princess boards 7 Sundays at Cruise Terminal 3 and stops on 18 October 2026; Sky Princess starts on 20 November 2026 at Cruise Terminal 6, on the opposite side of the channel.

Picking a sailing month from what the calendar actually offers

Three months answer three different questions, and the file is explicit about each. September 2026 offers 69 departures from 13 ships; February 2027 offers 100 from 19 ships in 28 days. Between them sits a six week window in which the roster changes almost weekly.

Weight sits in the back half. December 2026, January 2027 and February 2027 hold 55% of the season’s departures against 45% for September, October and November, and September alone is 12% of the file against 14% for October. Nine of the 22 ships, 41% of those named in the file, carry no September date at all.

For the largest number of sailings to choose between, January 2027 wins with 106 departures, the highest monthly total in the file, followed by November 2026 with 104. For departures per available day, February 2027 wins at 3.6, because 100 departures land in the shortest month. For the quietest terminals and the lightest traffic, September 2026 wins at 2.3 departures a day, with the caveat that fewer ships also means fewer options: Celebrity Apex, MSC Grandiosa, Sky Princess, Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Escape and Explorer of the Seas hold no September row.

A useful test is to work backwards from the ship rather than the month. Anyone committed to Disney Treasure is committed to a Saturday, since all 26 of its departures fall on one, and to Cruise Terminal 8, where 86% of Disney rows sit. Anyone committed to Carnival is not committed to a side of the channel: Carnival puts 79 departures, 58% of its rows, at Cruise Terminal 3 on the south side against 56 at Cruise Terminal 6 on the north side, reached from a different S.R. 528 exit. Royal Caribbean concentrates 80% of its rows at Cruise Terminal 1 and still moves 28 of them elsewhere. That split is why a parking plan cannot be built from the cruise line name, and the way Port Canaveral counts and bills each parking day applies the same $20.00 per day plus tax on either side, which on a seven night sailing means eight billed days and $160.00 before tax.

Cheapest month is not a category the schedule can answer. Frequency is.

Details in the season pattern that change which date you book

Each item below comes from counting the September 2026 to February 2027 edition in full, and each one changes a booking decision rather than describing the port.

    • Carnival Glory has the widest weekday spread in the file, boarding on six of the seven days: Monday 20 times, Friday 15, Thursday twice, and once each on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday. Harmony of the Seas is the one ship with a repeating Tuesday, 5 of them at Cruise Terminal 1.
    • Two lines never change berth. All 61 MSC Cruises departures sit at Cruise Terminal 10, with MSC Seashore taking 45 of them across Thursdays and Sundays, and all 18 Celebrity Apex departures sit at Cruise Terminal 5. The other five lines each move at least one sailing.
    • Two Princess ships share the season without overlapping by a single date. The gap between Caribbean Princess on 18 October 2026 and Sky Princess on 20 November 2026 is 33 days with no Princess Cruises departure at Port Canaveral.
    • Disney Cruise Line runs three ships and 117 departures, more than MSC Cruises, Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruises put together, and places 101 of them at Cruise Terminal 8. Disney boards on six weekdays out of seven, skipping Tuesday entirely.
    • The busiest single dates carry six departures, one from each active berth, and 28 dates reach that ceiling. Twenty six of those 28, or 93%, fall between 14 November 2026 and 26 February 2027, so a full port is a winter condition.
    • Departure times cluster inside a 90 minute band. Utopia of the Seas leaves at 4:00 pm on all 50 of its dates, Harmony of the Seas and Star of the Seas at 4:30 pm on all 61 between them, and Carnival Freedom, Sky Princess and Caribbean Princess at 3:30 pm. Disney Treasure sits at the far end, 5:00 pm on 26 Saturdays, and every Disney arrival row in the file reads 6:00 am.
    • A departure row is not a boarding time: the Canaveral Port Authority publishes no arrival hour of its own and sends passengers to the boarding time their line assigns, while Royal Caribbean requires guests aboard 90 minutes before port operations close and port garages do not open before 10 AM. Checking which ships are actually alongside on a given day is a separate exercise from reading the season file.

Assumptions about Port Canaveral sailings the season file does not support

Five reading errors recur, and each one turns a counted pattern into a promise the Canaveral Port Authority never made.

Assuming a line sails all season because it appears in the schedule. A traveler booking Celebrity Cruises for early October 2026 is holding out for a ship whose first row falls on 31 October, and anyone wanting Sky Princess before 20 November 2026 has no date to pick. The port’s cruise lines page lists operators, not calendars.

Counting eight cruise lines from the port’s contact list. Victory Casino Cruises appears there with a phone number and holds zero departure rows in the master schedule, so the working number for planning a sailing is seven.

Treating a monthly total as a weekly rhythm. September 2026 shows 69 departures, which averages 16 a week, yet the week of 21 September 2026 carries 14 and the week of 14 September carries 19. Booking a hotel against the average rather than the week overstates how much is leaving.

Reading a ship’s berth as fixed for the season. Norwegian Escape splits 13 departures at Cruise Terminal 6 against 3 at Cruise Terminal 5, and Carnival Glory holds 38 at Cruise Terminal 3 with one each at Cruise Terminal 6 and Cruise Terminal 1. Cruise documents override the grid every time.

Believing a season file describes a calendar year. Its filename says 2026 and its contents stop on 28 February 2027, so a sailing in July 2026 or in April 2027 was never in scope.

How the season figures in this guide were verified

The figures in this guide were verified in August 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates usually change in January, shuttle fares and cruise line transfer prices change by season, and ship schedules change weekly; check the issuer’s page before you travel. No provider paid for placement here, and none can pay to appear. Where a booking link earns Lot and Gate a commission it is marked as sponsored and flagged in this line, and as of September 2026 no affiliate link is live anywhere on this site.

Common questions about cruise lines and sailing dates at Port Canaveral

Answers below come from the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise schedule for September 2026 to February 2027 and from the port’s own cruise pages, all read in August 2026.

Which cruise lines sail from Port Canaveral in the 2026 to 2027 season?

Seven lines board passengers in the master schedule covering September 2026 to February 2027: Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian, MSC Cruises, Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruises. Victory Casino Cruises appears on the port’s cruise lines page with a phone number but holds no departure row in that file.

How many cruises leave Port Canaveral in a typical week?

The 25 full Monday to Sunday weeks in the September 2026 to February 2027 schedule carry a median of 23 departures. The quietest weeks hold 14, both in autumn, and the busiest holds 27 in February 2027. Twenty nine of the 181 dates carry no embarkation at all.

What day of the week do most Port Canaveral cruises leave?

Sunday carries 135 departures and Saturday 133, out of 559 in the file. Sunday offers the widest choice, with six of the seven lines boarding. Saturday is the single day Celebrity Apex sails. Friday to Monday together hold 85% of every scheduled departure in the six month window.

Which ships join Port Canaveral partway through the season?

Nine ships have no September date in the file. Carnival Venezia starts 10 October 2026, Norwegian Getaway 28 October, Carnival Freedom 30 October and Celebrity Apex 31 October. Explorer of the Seas, Norwegian Escape, MSC Grandiosa, Norwegian Epic and Sky Princess all begin between 13 and 20 November 2026.

Can you sail from Port Canaveral on a Tuesday?

Rarely. Six embarkation rows fall on a Tuesday across 181 dates, and five of them are Harmony of the Seas at Cruise Terminal 1, roughly one a month. Tuesday traffic at Port Canaveral is mostly visiting ships, with Odyssey of the Seas holding 11 of the 42 Port of Call rows.

Does the Port Canaveral cruise schedule cover the whole of 2026?

No. The edition read here runs from 1 September 2026 to 28 February 2027, despite a filename that says 2026, and it is stamped 27 August 2026 in its file properties. Sailings before September 2026 and after February 2027 sit outside it entirely.

One port, two seasons, and only one of them is in September

What the file describes is not a season but two of them, joined at the end of October. Thirteen ships open on an average of 17.5 departures a week; from 2 November 2026 a roster of 19 runs 23.8. Booking a cruise from Port Canaveral in 2026 means booking into one half or the other, and the month settles that before the ship does.
